This is a lovely heat protectant. It does the job protecting my hair from heat damage whilst conditioning my hair. It smells great and the spray bottle is very convenient and easy to use. I also love that Aveda is all natural. It is pricey though which is why I took off a star.Average, better off with something else

This is a lovely, gentle heat protectant. I love that it has fewer harsh chemicals than other products, and I can tell it does protect from heat when I spray some on my hand and aim the blow dryer at my hand. My hair is quite fine and dry at the ends, but this works well to protect it. The only problem for me is that I find the smell quite strong and I'm not a fan of the scent itself. My partner also finds the smell to be completely unappealing. But that's just us - I'm sure that there'll be those who like it, so I still recommend it.It works

The product does what it says, however it can be a bit sticky at times, I use hot tools alot, and usually apply on towel dried hair, but mostly on dry hair so that I can go over my hair with heat tools. This comes in a 100 ml plastic tube with a spray nosel top. It has a fresh botanical scent. Spray lightly on mid length to the ends of hair before using a heat styling product. This helps reduce heat damage and frizz caused by styling tools, wish I had started using this earlier.I use this every time I use heat tools on my hair
This is the first time I've consistently used a hair protector before styling with heat tools, and I think it's making a big difference. My hair feels healthier now. I really like the texture and scent of this one.
