Most Helpful Positive

Lightweight & moisturising

Mily

I use this as my night cream over my serums. It's lightweight yet seals plenty of moisture into my skin overnight. I like that's it's not too greasy as I have combination skin that can break out easily.

Most Helpful Criticism

Nice Cream

Narelle

I received this as a sample, and it's a nice cream/moisturiser. But, it's a bit of a stock standard moisturiser to me. I like the Aesop brand, but you've got to pick and choose with some products, and this just isn't one I would put in my regular routine. It's just to pricey for what it is

  2. Lovel scent

    Andrea54

I tried this product in a sample size and was pleasantly surprised. It had a fresh scent and my dry skin enjoyed the hydration. As I am happy with the result but will continue to use my current moisturiser.

  4. Rich & Nourishing

    Ashleigh

This is a great moisturiser - nice and would suit most skin types, especially dry. I use this as a night time moisturiser as it's nice and rich. Would not recommend to the super sensitive, but it's a beautiful moisturiser all the same!
  5. Pleasantly surprised for someone who has sensitive skin

    Jessica

Put it on straight after cleansing and was pleasantly surprised. I have particularly sensitive skin and usually opt for brands I know super well but this sunk in nicely, no reaction. Has a distinctive smell, but not as strong as some of their other products. I did like this a lot.
  6. Refreshing and revigorating

    Maddy

Beautifully infused with natural ingredients and smells amazing! Every night I use it and it instantly calms and relaxes me and my skin is left so hydrating! I would only use it of a night time because it is oily!
  7. Great

    Sarah

I received this cream as a sample with another order and loved it. Super lightweight, applies with ease and kept my skin feeling hydrated and smooth all day. It really reminded me of the Elizabeth Arden intensive daily moisturiser. Overall good stuff
  8. Super hydrating

    Cherry

I just tried out a sample and im hooked. It is the best hydration possible
  9. Great night cream

    Elizabeth

Was given this as a tester and really loved it. My skin absorbed it quickly and it had a really nice scent. Would buy as a night cream as slightly too thick for day Cream.
  10. Too harsh for my skin

    Samantha

Got this as a sample but was a bit harsh for my dry sensitive skin. Not the product's fault though. If you don't have sensitive skin it should work fine for you!
  11. Great!

    Chitra

It is very hydrating as it penetrates deeply into the skin and leaves a lovely scent afterwards.
  12. Love it

    Sandy

An important factor is the amazing smell, I look so forward to using it everyday! Extremely hydrating, definitely recommend!
  13. Skin reacted badly

    Petra

I received this as a sample (thank goodness I didn't buy the bigger product!) and I broke out in red lumps on my upper cheeks after using it. I have used the Camelia Nut and Fabulous Face range without an issue. I spoke to the people at Aesop about this and they do recommend those lines for sensitive skin. I gave my boyfriend some to try and it had the same result. Like all Aesop products though, ...

Perfect anti ageing night cream. My skin feels so soft and hydrated. I will definitely repurchase!
  15. Very hydrating, an excellent way to get some moisture back into dull skin

    Abe

Very hydrating, an excellent way to get some moisture back into dull skin, it makes a big difference even after just a few uses.
  16. great for winter

    Lydia

I like this cream because it's moisturizing, very suitable for dry or winter skin.

  17. Hydration

    Yun

This cream keeps my skin hydrated and soft. It’s not greasy and sticky. Also, I love the scent. Recommend
  18. very gentle

    Ariane

A very pleasant facial cream moisturiser, you only need a small amount, the tub will last ages. Skin feels calm, hydrated and really comfortable all day long.
  19. very genlte

    Ariane

Very soothing and hydrating. Great for those days when your skin is feeling a little drier than normal. Also wonderful on your neck and chest, so hydrating and smoothing
  20. good for dry skin

    Viv

I find this to be very good for dry skin, especially now in the cold months! It also has antioxidant benefits which I love
  21. Average smell, great product

    olivia

If you can get past the interesting smell it has then this is a great moisturizer for combo skin. If you have oily skin I’d say this one’s not for you. I’ve received a few samples of this and have used them all (during winter) Goes on smoothly and does leave a slight oiliness to the skin but more of a dewiness than oiliness. As for the smell, given that this product is derived from natural ingredi...

i like this! you get a fair amount! worth the money! lasts ages!
  23. Excellent hydration for dry/combination skin

    Ruby

I have quite dry combination skin and this moisturiser is one of my go to’s. After the first use my skin feels hydrated and not slimy at all and after a couple of days it’s glowing!
  24. Soothing

    Mary

I received this as a sample and it's a lovely rich moisturising cream. I found it to have quite a strong scent which everyone may not enjoy. My skin is quite dry and this is definitely soothing to use although I found it to have a slightly sticky finish so for this reason I'm not sure I would purchase.
  25. Mixed thoughts

    emma

I received multiple samples of this with my other purchases so I've tried it a handful of times. The scent is very calming though I'm not set on it - my skin does feel more hydrated and plump, however it leaves an oily residue. My skin is quite oily though so perhaps it might be better for drier skin types.
  26. Unimpressed.

    Kate

It’s a fine hydrating cream that goes on smoothly, feels light and is easily absorbed but I find the smell weird and perhaps kind of a generic ‘manly’ scent that’s actually quite strong smelling especially as a facial cream. Not worth the money for me personally.
  27. Ultra hydrating, give it a go!

    Irene

Feels like a soothing balm over my face without being greasy at all. It’s ultra hydrating and my skin feels much calmer after using it. It’s on the expensive side but I feel like if nothing is working, give it a go!
  28. Fan Favourite

    Maddy

I've tried most of the aesop face creams and the parsley seed is definately a favourite! It's moisturizing but not too rich for my sensitive, combination skin. It has a pleasant scent. It's a small jar and it's expensive but it is really good!
  29. don't like the smell

    Nicole

I love Aesop but I seem to dislike anything within the Parsley range. The smell is funny for me.
  30. Moisutuising

    Vee

I find that this keeps my skin looking and feeling hydrated, Im not a big fan of the scent through. I like the cream, but I do believe that I could get equal hydration from a less expensive product. I don't think I will re purchase
  31. Good hydration but terrible smell

    Danielle

I used this product for a while and I found it was quite hydrating, even if a little thick and not quickly absorbed. What stops me from purchasing it in the future is the smell - it has a very odd smell (presumably the parsley seed) and I found it really off-putting. If this had been unscented or at least a little better smelling I would have rated it better. Sadly not one I'll purchase again.
  32. Moisturizing

    Lydia

I like this cream because it's moisturizing and doesn't have a strong scent
  33. I Like it, but im not a huge fan of the price

    JKDOT Beauty

I like this product, thick but my skin absorbs it quickly, one thing im not a huge fan of.. the price, i wouldnt purchase only because of the price. But it is extremely hydrating
  34. Great

    Yoshie

Just received the package and I'm rather pleased to find that Mankind made an huge improvement in packing this time! Every product is wrapped in an elastic net and a bubble bag separately, sealed and fastened all together with an extra plastic wrap so they don't move around in the box. Mankind will probably be my favorite place to purchase Aesop products!
  35. great lotion

    Christina

not too rich for dry and sensitive skin. similar with lotion not cream. But okay.
  36. Expensive but good!

    Alex

I've tried most of the aesop face creams and the parsley seed is definately a favourite! It's moisturizing but not too rich for my sensitive, combination skin. It has a pleasant scent. It's a small jar and it's expensive but it is really good!
  37. Thick! Chiq!

    Valerie

Love this, goes on thick but after rubbing it in becomes quite matte. Definitely is a heavier cream but doesn't feel over the top
  38. Good product but there is better out there

    Anu

I received a week's worth of samples in store. It is a thick, fragrant cream leaving a matte and brightening finish. It was hydrating but only felt it for a couple hours. For its price I wouldn't purchase because there are other creams that do the same thing for a lower price.
  39. Great

    Peta

This product is great! I only use this product during winter because my skin gets really dry. However, the hydrator does not make your skin overly oily yet keeps you skin from flaking and drying. The hydrator does not have a particularly aromatic scent, but it's not a repulsive scent so it's not too bad.
  40. Surprisingly amazing!

    Sarah

I got a sample of this from another order with adore beauty and omgggggg I wish the sample had a few days worth haha. I have combination skin and I was so happy that it dried matte and my face literally drank it, the smell is really relaxing too, very calming at night. Going to save my pennies and by a bottle for sure
  41. Scent too strong

    Belinda

Got this as a sample but the fragrance was too overwhelming for my face and made my eyes water. Would steer clear if you have sensitive skin like I do. It’s quite light so it sinks in well. Nothing special and there’s cheaper moisturisers out there that do even better in my opinion. Good for hands and feet though, but not hydrating enough.
  42. too light for dry skin

    Katherine

lightweight cream that has a nice scent and is a bit hydrating but not enough for my dry skin
  43. Hydrating

    John

Good facial cream that is hydrating and the scent isn't too strong
  44. Lovely & Light

    Beauty Bee

Lovely day moisturiser, but it is on the lighter side of things when talking about hydration. Great for summer if you have combination to normal skin, but now that we are moving into winter and my skin is also becoming drier because of topical acne treatments, it's not giving me enough hydration. Doesn't break me out though and I love all the antioxidants in the formula, to protect against oxidati...
