I was expecting a bit more from this product, but overall it is a good mascara compared to some of the ones currently on the market.
It depends on how dramatic you like your lashes, one or two coats is great for overall coverage and definition.

Great lengthening mascara

I have heard great things about this mascara so I had to give it a try. The brush separates the lashes and picks up those finer lashes that a lot of mascara brushes don't. The product has a great lengthening effect and curls and separates the lashes well, however while it did make my lashes more voluminous, I was expecting it to be more noticeable. I tried applying this mascara followed by my current volumising mascara and found the result to be wonderful.

This mascara is like no other I've used before. The wand is like a claw which grabs your lashes & smothers them with the perfect amount of black goodness. This magic claw lifts your lashes up making your eyes look like they've opened for the first time. One coat is great for the day, two coats is even better for a night out with the girls!

ohhh!!!! there is nothing more amazing then this mascara. I absolutely loveeeeee it!!! The bees knees of mascaras in my eyes. It gives amazing volume, length and doesn't move. My lashes literally look fake, its the best feeling.. haha

This mascara is gorgeous! As always with Benefit, beautiful packaging. This mascara does everything it says it will. It volumises, lengthens and separates lashes and looks so pretty. It really opens up my eyes with having to curl my lashes. It doesn't clog at all and the brush doesn't get all lumpy like some others I've tried. Highly recommended!!!!!

WOW. This mascara ticks all the boxes. Its proper black. It lengthens, defines and thickens. Eyelashes stay soft and comfortable.
Normally I hate this kind of silicone brush but the bristles on this one are close together and the rows are off-set so every tiny eyelash gets raked through, nicely coated and separated. The bristles on the tip are excellent for your lower lashes and your inner and outer corners.
AND... it doesn't smudge while you're wearing it but comes off easily with makeup remover.
