You’re probably thinking, "calm down tiger, how much are they paying you to say this?" and to that I say, who says calm down tiger anymore???? But seriously, nothing.
I’ve actually been asking (hounding is probably more accurate) the Adore Beauty brands team to get Innersense on board for years so, if you've also been a fan of Innersense hair products and are Googling "Innersense stockists Australia" - the day has finally come!
Are Innersense products curly girl approved?
In the last seven years as I’ve gone through my curly hair journey I have tried a LOT of brands and products, and when I say that these are the gold-tier, grade A++ standard I mean it.
What Is Innersense Organic Beauty?
All of Innersense’s products use plant-based, cold-pressed, and unadulterated ingredients, including hydrators like coconut and avocado oils, plant proteins such as rice and quinoa, and humectants like honey and sugarcane.
It’s also a certified B Corp company since 2021 and donates 1% of its annual revenue to environmental and philanthropic causes…which means you can feel good about giving them your money.

But first, when it comes to how to use Innersense products please note:
Innersense products are highly concentrated, which means that to get the best out of them you need to “awaken” them by emulsifying them before applying them to your hair. (In case you’re not down with the CGM lingo, to emulsify products just means to put it on your palms, sometimes with a little bit of water, and rub your hands together a few times).
This technique helps the concentrated formulas expand and ensures proper distribution throughout your hair, which is extra important for curly hair.

Innersense Organic Beauty Hydrating Cream Conditioner
Why you need it: Purchasing this is non-negotiable. This was the first product of theirs that I ever used, and from the first use I was HOOKED. To this day I have never used a better conditioner.
It’s a rich, thick, moisturising conditioner that is perfect for dry/thirsty curly hair.
Your hair will feel soft and hydrated after use which is essential for maintaining healthy curly hair. Its richness comes from ingredients like shea butter, coconut oil, monoi oil, and aloe vera, which are known for being nourishing and deeply moisturising.
All of this moisture helps to give it great slip, which makes it easy to comb through curly hair and makes detangling super easy, and reduces frizz.
My other favourite thing here is that they sell it in a 1 litre refill pack too, so they get that us curlies need more conditioner than the average hair type and provide accordingly.
Innersense Organic Beauty Hydrating Cream Hairbath Shampoo
Why you need it: It’s a great shampoo that cleanses curly hair without stripping natural oils making it ideal for thick, coarse, and thirsty curls.
Again this is packed with nourishing, organic ingredients like Shea Butter, Avocado, and Tamanu Oil, which actively boosts hydration during the washing process, minimising that dry, brittle feeling that comes with shampoos that just strip EVERYTHING out of your hair.
This is a fab curly-girl safe shampoo/cleanser that gives you a gentle, sulfate-free lather that leaves hair feeling soft, smooth, and bouncy, setting the perfect foundation for the rest of your curly hair routine.
Innersense Organic Beauty Hydrating Hair Mask
Why you need it: This is the ultimate intensive treatment for dry, coarse or damaged curls.
I have been looking for a top-tier Curly Girl safe Leave In conditioner for years that gives the perfect amount of moisture without making it feel too heavy or greasy and this is it.
It is designed to repair and deeply replenish moisture lost from styling or coloring. With ingredients like shea butter, tamanu, and flax seed it is a game-changer for its ability to transform dry, high-porosity curls into soft, silky, and glossy curls.
And beyond the hydration, the inclusion of quinoa protein helps repair and strengthen the hair's structure, providing a vital weekly boost that leaves the curl pattern enhanced and curls manageable for the entire week.
Innersense Organic Beauty Quiet Calm Curl Control Cream
Why you need it: Continuing on the hydration train, this curl cream is great at giving hydrating and definition without any heavy residue.
Its concentrated formula is perfect for eliminating frizz and creating soft, defined curls. Shea butter, rice bran oil, and rooibos tea work to strengthen your hair and smooth the cuticle, making it an excellent, nourishing base to shape curls for air-drying or diffusing, and a powerful curl intensifier for all curl types.
I usually use it to help lock in moisture before I use the curl gel to lock in the shape.
How I apply it: On dripping wet hair apply a 50c piece size to your palm, emulsify, and then rake/comb it through your hair making sure to get the coverage everywhere evenly. Brush it through also to help spread it out properly. I would do this amount to each side of my head, but if you have more hair, I’d break it up into more sections.
Innersense Organic Beauty I Create Curl Memory Gelee
Why you need it: If you have coarse, curly or coily hair, then you’re going to need a curl gel like this one after your curl cream to help lock in the shape and help reduce frizz as much as possible.
This curl gelee (which is slightly runnier and more “jelly” like than a typical gel) helps provide a strong and flexible hold that helps set your curl pattern for days.
When doing the full-routine and air-dry, I easily get 3-4 days of perfect curls without a reset 🤯 UNHEARD OF!
Below, day 1 definition and day 2 onwards, volume:
With ingredients like bamboo extract and organic aloe vera it provides hydration and long-lasting gel cast, or curl memory…get it, to your curls.
Of any curly hair gel/gelee we have at Adore Beauty this is the best! On the first day it gives you the utmost definition and then as the days go on it keeps definition while starting to give you more volume 🤌
Innersense Organic Beauty I Create Shine Finishing Serum
Why you need it: To scrunch out the crunch (SOTC). After applying the gelee and letting that dry/set, you’re going to get the classic crunchy curl.
Using this serum will help to break the cast to remove that crunch, but help to not create any frizz and add additional shine to your hair.
Also, if you apply it right, you can also look to lengthen out the curl to make your hair look longer. Made from a blend of nourishing cold-pressed oils like macadamia, cranberry seed and sunflower, a few drops of this leaves your curls feeling soft, protected, and incredibly glossy.
How I apply it: Once your hair has fully dried, to SOTC apply drops to your palm, emulsify, and then using the praying hands method (two flat palms on either side of your hair) slide your hands down, stretching out the curl and breaking the cast. Please note: a little goes a long way! You only need a few drops for all over.
