I LOVE this product as a primer under foundation. Without it, my foundation looks chalky and my skin seems to lack that glow that it has when I use beauty flash balm underneath. I put on the balm and then the foundation on literally straight after while the skin is still damp. It is an amazing product, if you haven't tried it- do!

Purchased this product to give my skin a bit of a boost and overall I am happy with it. I find it does it's best job under my makeup, as a primer. When I wear it without makeup my skin does look alot better but nothing too dramatic. Like the texture - it can feel a little think on your hands, but gets absorbed pretty well. I also love the scent for some reason. Its a strange scent, but somehow satisfying to wear.

I note that many of the reviews are by users who are young! I'm in mid 60's and find this product wonderful for a mature skin also. Definitely brightens and gives my skin a glow, particularly for a special occasion or if I'm feeling a bit off-colour. Highly recommend.

Love Love Love! Just adore this product thrown into my routine from time to time. No matter what brands I am using in skincare and makeup I always have this in my makeup bag. I love throwing it on as a mask before (or after) a big night. When my skins feeling a bit blah! its the perfect pick me up! I massage it in as my night time treatment sometimes. and of course as its was designed as a primer under makeup. Lasts for ages. You only need such a small amount as a primer. Only wish it came in a bigger size!! Love the smell and consistency too. I have combo skin and have no problems with this product. I HEART BFB!!

I have heard rave reviews on Clarins Beauty Flash Balm for quite some time now and after two year, I decided to take the plunge. It is not particularly a balm, as the name suggests, but rather a lotion. It smells nice, feels good on my skin (it does not react badly), and it leaves my skin glowing and looking fresh. Wearing it underneath my foundation and alone, I have received compliments on my skin and have been told I look healthier and fresh. I enjoy wearing it on makeup-free days, where I simply wear this alone or with SPF. The packaging is handy too - it comes in a tube so it is hygienic and good to pack with you when travelling. I can't say that I rave about this product but I am happy with the results, I like the idea of the product and what it is designed to do, and I would most likely purchase again in future.

The 'flash' effect comes from the slight pinky colour and dew, glow or slight shine from the creamy emollient consistency. It made a difference but nothing too great - I dont want to glow or shine all over I like having contours. Maybe better applied only in certain areas? And I havent tried it over makeup/tinted moisturiser - maybe it works better then? Otherwise just unnecessary.

This is a product that has always facinated me so I was delighted to be given a sample of it. I'd read that it was supposed to give you dewy, fresh looking skin and work as a primer to keep your make up in place and looking smooth. I tried it and....well...I didn't see or feel any difference in my skin or make up. This isn't the first time I've been a bit perplexed by a primer. I just don't see any difference. Personally, I just don't see any benefit for me in this product. That said, the product feels light on the skin and is pleasant to apply unlike some other primers which feel a bit heavy and sticky.

First thoughts - over-rated. Great to use as a primer under make-up, or to use as an intense moisture boost for dry skin. I didn't see any difference in my complexion, only that it looked dewy.

Not too sure about this one. Works well as a primer and glides smoothly onto the face. Even though I followed the instructions for application, I can't say that I noticed a visible difference in my skin - no great glow or freshened look. But it does help underneath foundation, so I'm not complaining. I just don't believe in the the hype, that's all.

At first I didn't get this stuff, not sure how to use it. This stuff is great for when your hung over, sick or looking tired. It really makes you looking glowing but not over the top. I always use this for the days when I don't feel so crash hot. You put it on before your makeup but after your moisturiser. It's like a primer. The trick is not to rub the product into the face, just pat on face,

I was initially a bit wary to try this as I have heard mixed reviews about it (not on here). I have been using it daily for about a week and I love it! It smooths on to the skin and works great as a primer. It stops my skin from getting oily during the day but it also leaves the skin glowing and the glow will shine through your make-up. I think it's great!

This product has cult status, and it is easy to see why - it instantly brightens the skin and primes it perfectly for make-up. Great pick-me-up for tired, dull skin. Im never without this one :-)

Two words: beauty staple. Dunno what's in it but oh I don't care! Brightens, tightens, soothes, smooths - the lot! You can use it before going out or before going to bed, as a masque, over your moisturiser - don't need much but boy you'll look radiant!

For a bit of brightening, or as an emergency dark circle fix, this is the best! Everyone should have it in their kit. I also like it as a mask, when I have been a bit off-colour. Truly a miracle product.

I love Beauty Flash Balm. Whenever I look in the mirror in the morning and think "Yuk" i reach for this. I don't know how it does it but it instantly brightens your skin and makes it feel much better. Your make-up glides on perfectly as well. I also like to use it as a face mask. It calms my skin and makes it feel so smooth. Definately one of those cult prodcuts that work!

Even though I had used this product in the past, I was really keen to give this a try again, as a new mum my skin is in a real need of a pick me up more than it ever has. I used this both as a lotion over my sunscreen and as a mask before putting make up on, and was very pleased with the results from both usages. I was worried that this product may be to heavy for my oily t-zone over my moisturiser and sunscreen, but it seemed to sink right in and did not leave me oily at all. My skin had a radiant glow after applying, and I even received a compliment from a friend saying I looked so good I must have "a new mothers glow". I will definitely be purchasing this product and this will now be a staple for when my skin needs that extra assistance to face the world (pardon the pun!) and would also be a good quick and easy product to apply before a night out. This product really provides beauty in a flash!

Beauty Flash Balm is one of those products that eluded me for so long, but I'm really happy to have finally bought it and succumbed to its charms! Once I figured out "what to do with it", I realised that it's quite a magical product. It adds an almost imperceptible layer of "glow" to your face, either on its own or underneath makeup. It's a slightly (very slightly) gold-toned lotion and it just lends some warmth and beauty in, well, a flash! I've been complimented so many times when wearing BFB. It's not obvious at all; in fact it's very subtle. For the reasonable price though, it's really worth having a tube in the cupboard. I'd recommend this product to new mums, busy working women, party girls, and tired uni students - so, pretty much everyone!
