The Best Serum Foundation I’ve Tried and Can’t Stop Repurchasing

Clinique even better clinical serum foundation is weightless, buildable medium to full coverage and it does a great job at letting your skin shine!

How to Apply Clinique Even Better Clinical Serum Foundation.

The Clinique serum foundation has transformed this lazy girl that never bothered to apply makeup, into one that does.

Before meeting this serum foundation I would always choose to go makeup-free; I can’t be the only one that feels fabulous when in glam, whilst simultaneously feeling its heaviness, biding time until it can be removed.

Application of this Clinique foundation is so easy, even for a makeup novice like myself.

It can be applied onto fresh skin, but preferentially after SPF50+ and looks just as fresh post SPF top-ups too.

I applied mine with a Clinique blurring brush, but have also used my hands or a beauty blender.

My Clinique Even Better Clinical Serum Foundation SPF20 Review.

To me, foundation was always the pore-clogging enemy no matter how boujee or budget; granted you’ll look flawless whilst wearing it for the first few hours, but once the day and double cleanse is done it’s hello dullness and congestion.

Clinique’s even better foundation innovation challenged this status quo, after I was enlightened with its skincare superpowers about a year ago.

Since then I haven’t relied on anything else, even when I travel.

A very different experience from my first with the brand as a pre-teen; where I’d steal my mum’s Clinique toner and fragranced moisturiser and quite frankly I don’t know why as the experience wasn’t a very rewarding one for my troubled teenage skin.

We live and we learn.

Fast-forward 10 years and I’m in adoration of Clinique and this serum foundation in particular, which I’ve repurchased and have it to thank for my Coachella glow!

I applied makeup everyday of my USA trip regardless of how little time I had; this foundation was the gateway to my best skin and self yet.

My face was absolutely glowing well into the night and next morning, so I can vouch for the 24 hour wear.

Makeup is meant to enhance our features not cover them and this formula does exactly this.

The matte-silk finish blurred imperfections and allowed my complexion to shine through regardless of how much coverage I deemed fit that day.

I’ve also recently discovered just how ‘acne-friendly’ it is. I found it concealed my blemishes without aggravating them.

A little really does go a long way so you get even better bang for your buck.

Final Verdict...

Hydrated and energised is how my skin feels during and after applying this foundation.

Call it placebo, but I feel like my skin was no worse after a full day in this baby; if anything it was even better.

The cute, egg-like packaging is unassumingly pleasing and ergonomic for anyone like me; always juggling and in a rush.

It just fits in your hand and doesn't take up any unnecessary space or weight allowance in your cosmetic bag.
