Road-tested: Skoop Skincare Hand Hero, Sweat Absorbent Moisturiser

First impressions:

• The coconutty smell is nice and clean without being too overpowering to someone like me who is not a big coconut fan.

• A little goes a long way - I rubbed a 20c piece size my palms and it took about a min to soak in. It leaves a soft waxy feeling on the palms without over drying the skin.

• The tin is very chic and holds a lot of product - but just a heads up it’s quite a runny texture so be careful to let the product set back to the bottom before opening the lid If it’s been tossed around in your bag. I spilled it all over my pants on the first open - whoops!

On that first try at my desk, I instantly felt the difference once it had dried - I was shaking hands with colleagues, typing and testing my sweaty hands as best I could.

It lasts quite well too - I didn’t feel the need to re-apply even after using my mouse all afternoon.

The BIG test for me was where I get my most sweaty - pilates!

I’m the type of gal who needs a towel under my hands every time I’m in a 4-point kneel position just so I don’t slip and slide off the reformer machine.

I applied the Skoop Hand Hero 5 mins before class started while I was warming up - I accidentally put a few white fingerprints on my black leggings...I noticed a HUGE difference in my palms sweating in that class.

So much so that the area between my fingers that I missed was quite sweaty, but my palms were massively improved!

Between this heavy-duty tester and the multiple times through the last few weeks I’ve applied it just day-to-day I can vouch that this really works to manage clammy palms.

This Skoop product is going to be accompanying me to my pilates classes and into the world from now.
