Fact: TikTok can make me buy just about anything.

Air fryers. Lint remover machines. Pore-blurring primers.

You name it. I've bought it.

First Aid Beauty is one of the key brands pioneering the #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt movement.

If you're yet to see the stripy packaging in your feed, the relatively little-known (and affordable) brand has a big cult following among skinfluencers, dermatologists and beauty editors in Australia and overseas.

And now, you can get your hands on their viral KP body scrub and ultra repair face cream here at Adore. Yipee!

But in a sea of TikTok trends and viral videos, how are you meant to know which products are (and aren't) right for you?

Like, are First Aid Beauty products TikTok good, or real-life good?

I've been trialling the brand's range of face and body products for a couple of weeks now.

Here are my picks for the best First Aid Beauty products.

Best First Aid Beauty Products.

Here are some rapid fire facts on First Aid Beauty (also known as FAB!):

  • First Aid Beauty is a dermatologist-backed brand focussed on sensitive skin-friendly products that solve common skincare concerns.

  • The brand's ethos is all about effective formulas safe for use on sensitised skin, in simple packaging.

  • All First Aid Beauty products are made and manufactured in the US.

  • First Aid Beauty is 100% cruelty-free and a PETA-certified Beauty Without Bunnies partner.

  • The entire First Aid Beauty range isn't vegan, but most products are (and are clearly labelled as such!).

Now, onto my top picks from the FAB range!

1. First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream

FIRST AID BEAUTY Ultra Repair Cream 170g is our first cab off the rank and I can confirm, it's as good as everyone says it is.

The rich yet fast-absorbing formula instantly comforts, soothes and nourishes the skin barrier.

It also helps to reduce the look of redness, and keep your skin feeling moisturised for hours.

What's in this First Aid Beauty moisturiser that makes it so good?

  • Colloidal oatmeal - This soothing ingredient aids with calming and relieving dry or distressed skin.

  • Shea butter - An emollient ingredient rich in a range of vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids that help moisturise and protect the skin barrier.

  • Allantoin - Can aid with calming, soothing and protecting skin. This is due to its skin healing properties.

This First Aid Beauty moisturiser is non-comedogenic, meaning it won't clog your pores.

That said, those with oily, acne or blemish-prone skin might find the ultra thick texture... confronting.

Oh, and this ginormous tub of moisturiser for your face will likely never run out - I've been going on mine for a couple of months now!

My First Aid Beauty repair cream review? 10/10.

2. First Aid Beauty Niacinamide Eye Cream.

FIRST AID BEAUTY Eye Duty Niacinamide Brightening Cream FIRST AID BEAUTY Eye Duty Niacinamide Brightening Cream

I was intrigued when I first saw this First Aid Beauty eye cream on skinfluencer Hyram Yarbro's TikTok.

Promising to brighten, smooth and de-puffy dark circles and under-eye bags, the many adoring First Aid Beauty Eye Duty Niacinamide Brightening Eye Cream reviews had me feeling sceptical...

Then I tried it, and I get why people love it.

FIRST AID BEAUTY Eye Duty Niacinamide Brightening Cream 15ml is magic when applied in the morning before concealer.

The peach micro-pearls instantly brighten the eye area like an illuminating colour corrector would.

Caffeine and sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid) also plump the under-eye area, while niacinamide (vitamin B3) works on the look of dark circles over time.

I haven't been using the First Aid Beauty niacinamide eye cream consistently for long enough to see any of the long-term benefits, but I'll be using it more for the instantaneous radiance.

3. First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser.

I've said it once (in this article on how to get rid of bum pimples, no less), and I'll say it again:

Everyone needs the FIRST AID BEAUTY KP Bump Eraser with 10% AHA 226g in their shower.

First Aid Beauty Bump Eraser is a chemical and physical body exfoliator.

Plus, it's one of those cult TikTok-famous products that genuinely lives up to the hype.

You've got 10% combined AHAs lactic and glycolic acids, and pumice buffing beads to physically smooth rough areas and bumps.

The creamy base and fine grain texture ensure you won't scrub your skin red raw.

That said, ensure your skin is wet before application, and go light on with pressure to let the formula do the work.

So, does First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser work?

Spoiler: This excellent bum is not mine.

I'd show you my First Aid Beauty before and after photos, but then I'd have to put my bum on the internet so.... nah.

What I can say, though, is I saw a noticeable result in the texture of my skin after one use.

4. First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads.

Did you say gentle exfoliation with one swipe of an easy peasy pre-soaked cotton pad? Gimme.

FIRST AID BEAUTY Facial Radiance Pads - 60 pads promise to combat dullness, and uneven skin tone and texture for a smoother, glowier-looking complexion.

But the best bit? These exfoliating swipeys do it using a formula that's gentle enough for everyday use - if you want.

The First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance pads ingredients include:

  • Glycolic and lactic acids - Alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) that exfoliate skin to improve texture and increase radiance.

  • Lemon peel - Helps brighten skin’s appearance.

  • Cucumber water and Indian Gooseberry - Help to cool, tone and soothe skin.

  • Liquorice root and feverfew - Rich in antioxidants, they help protect skin from environmental aggressors.

I just love how easy these exfoliating pads are to slot into your evening skincare routine.

Hot tip: The pads are super juicy, so swipe them over your neck, décolletage, the backs of your arms or even your hands once you've done the face!

5. First Aid Beauty Coconut Water Cream.

First Aid Beauty Coconut Water Cream First Aid Beauty Coconut Water Cream

FIRST AID BEAUTY Hello First Aid Beauty Coconut Water Cream 50ml is an oil-free moisturiser for oily and sensitive skin types.

Because yes, oily and combination skin types can feel sensitised and dehydrated, too.

Inside the pink stripy tub, you'll find coconut water, sodium hyaluronate, antioxidants and botanical extracts.

Think of it like an electrolyte-charged sports drink, but for your impaired skin barrier.

Straight up, this product isn't for my super dry skin, but I know oily skin-havers will love the light gel texture.

Plus, I read many a First Aid Beauty coconut water cream review lamenting how it quenches thirsty skin, without leaving a greasy residue.

Here are just a few of the reviews on the First Aid Beauty website:

"This is my ride or die moisturiser, it makes my skin feel so hydrated and fresh. It's light enough for my greasy t-zone, and still hydrating enough for everywhere else, in both winter and summer. I love that it is free of unnecessary fragrance, too." - Jules L.

"I was really sceptical [about this cream]. Since I have really sensitive skin with a dry t-zone and an oily chin, my skin is very picky... This stuff has limited my breakouts and helped hydrate and smooth my skin so much. Finally, we have the first winter in eight years my forehead isn't flaky and dry. I wish I could buy this by the gallon!" - Sara.

Hot tip: Have drier skin but still want to try a First Aid Beauty coconut water product?

FIRST AID BEAUTY Coconut Skin Smoothing Primer Moisturiser 50ml is one I highly recommend instead!

It's a face cream, and a hydrating and illuminating primer in one. *Chef's kiss*.

6. FIRST AID BEAUTY Ingrown Hair Treatment Pads.

Finally, we have another product I saw @dermdoctor promoting on TikTok...

Cute, but I wondered if they could actually help with preventing razor burn and ingrown hairs from shaving, waxing and hair removal in general.

My colleague Gerard informed me the FIRST AID BEAUTY Ingrown Hair Treatment Pads - 28 pads "do indeed work", so I gave them a crack where I get razor burn from shaving my armpits.

This before and after result on the FAB Instagram was also pretty convincing!

In theory, the pads pre-soaked in both glycolic acid and salicylic acid work to remove any dead skin cells that might cause hairs to become trapped in the hair follicle as they grow back.

The brand says you can also use the vegan pads on sensitive skin, and anywhere you remove hair (underarms, bikini area, face, neck, legs, you name it!).

But... wouldn't they sting?!

I've found the key is to use them the day after shaving or waxing. Otherwise, prepare the feel the burn, and not in a good way.

Sure, you could use any exfoliating body wash in the shower, but I love the convenience - and novelty - of a pre-soaked swipey.
