I would never usually buy a perfume without first smelling it, and for such a high price, but I've been really curious to try a natural fragrance and the bottle just looked too beautiful, so I figured even if it didn't smell the best, I could at least keep the bottle on display.
The smell is okay. It almost smells like a pleasant wrinkle cream or lotion. But to me it smells almost exactly like this natural brightening serum by Burt"s Bees, which is made of daisy extract. Still undecided as to whether I like this fact or not, as I can't help but associate it with a kind of ointment smell., almost lile chemicals. And even if I do like this fact, I'm better off just buying the Burt Bees serum and using that, which is cheaper and has a longer-lasting fragrance whilst also brightening my skin.
The other thing is that the fragrance is way too light /delicate, so it hardly lasts a few minutes, let alone hours.
Even the packaging was a little dissapointing - the bottle isn't as white as the imagery, it is darker, more ivory, and the lid doesn't click on, it just sits on very loosely, which I just don't understand. It almost seems like a cheaper manufacturing option or something and for such an expensive fragrance, I would expect more.
Not bad, but not great.
