What is Vitamin C, and how does it work?

Vitamin C can also brighten, improve uneven tones, and boost collagen production to firm skin for a more youthful appearance.

A Vitamin C serum can also help reduce the appearance of pigmentation and smooth skin’s texture, making this ingredient a must-have in any beauty cabinet.

What is the difference between Vitamin C and Ascorbic Acid?
There is no difference. Ascorbic Acid is simply the scientific name for Vitamin C.

The Ordinary Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2%

I used this product for 2 weeks consistently and didn't notice a major difference. It's also an odd grainy texture which I don't love. It made my skin a little brighter, but not bright enough for me to continue using this product. The texture is definitely the downfall and is the reason why I won't continue using this product.

Great vitamin c product for first time use

I've been using this now for 2 weeks in the mornings after cleansing and toning, followed by Lancome Genifique day cream and sunscreen. I have sensitive, slightly dry skin and have not used a vitamin c product before this. So far I've had no adverse reaction and noticed improvement to skin tone and improved smoothness. I initially thought it felt a bit heavy going on but I'm now using a bit less and it settles into my skin well with a good texture. Would highly recommend.

Not for me

I purchased this product because I wanted to incorporate Vitamin C into my skincare regime. Unfortunately, while the price of this product is excellent, I found it gave me a stinging sensation even when used sparingly. I also found the texture to feel like a gentle exfoliator rather than a nourishing product. To me it felt like it had small sand like particles in the product.
