Is this the perfect lip-salve? It just might be! - 08-05-2018 by

Silky perfection, and a little goes a long way. $14.95 might seem pricey, but the tin you get is the size of a small shoe polish, and the product spreads *so* far.
I bought this in this variety, plus the original and also the brambleberry (I just couldn't choose, so I did the naughty and got them all). The smell of the mandarin is invigorating without being sharp or intrusive, and it gives a pretty, very slight tint of coral to the lips if you layer it - it's much less bright than in the picture, though, but that's because it's a balm, not a liquid lippie. And *what* a balm!
It's delicious enough that I occasionally like my finger after applying. *lol* And the tin is really pretty.
I think this little tin of perfection might just last me six months or more, easily, and it's *so nice to use*. I am telling everyone I know to try the Smith's balms, now.
$15 is a bargain for what you get; I'd say if you're strapped for cash, but in the market for a little treat/reward to yourself, then you can't go wrong with one of the rosebud salve products. They're lovely anywhere you choose to put them, and they all smell and taste divine.
I am a several-year loyal devotee of Nivea's fruity shine stick balms, and I haven't voluntarily used pot balms since I was in high-school, but since trying Smith's, I'm a believer. They may not be for the long-nailed, but for everyone else, they're miraculously nourishing on the lips, cuticles or anywhere else, while somehow being reasonably non-greasy on the fingers. And my price per refill may have gone up by a full two thirds, but given that I have gone from using up one every 4 - 6 weeks to what I believe will be several months, I am fairly certain that these will prove themselves an economical investment, in the passage of time.
