Q. What is a good cleanser for dry and congested skin?

A. Having a proper cleanser is really important, especially if you're prone to congestion and/or wear SPF or makeup. SPF when not thoroughly cleansed can cause further congestion. I understand that some skin types aren't particularly tolerant to cleansers but I think a cleansing oil would be great for dry skin with congestion. Alpha-H Laser Cleansing Oil does not dry out the skin at all while thoroughly cleansing, but really assists in boosting the skin's radiance.

I would also recommend Lancôme Galateis Douceur Gentle Cleansing FluidThis cleanser is a milky emulsion, which is really lightweight but does not strip or dry the skin. It's gentle enough to use twice a day, but is fantastic at thoroughly cleansing and breaking down makeup, debris etc on the skin's surface.

Q. What is the best moisturiser for very dry skin?

A.  Skinstitut Moisture Defence - Ultra Dry is a lightweight, non-pore clogging moisturiser to hydrate, smooth and reduce the appearance of fine lines. This is an ideal moisturiser for very dry skin types. Can be used morning and night.
Alternatively, the asap ultimate hydration is another great product for very dry skin. It is a super rich, nourishing cream which delivers visible results to dry and prematurely aged skin, while noticeably improving skin elasticity, texture, and tone. Can also be used morning and night.

Q. What can I use to moisturise dry skin that isn't too heavy?

For a night moisturiser, I would highly recommend Lancôme Hydra Zen Neurocalm Soothing Recharging Night Cream. The cream-gel formulation means it doesn't feel heavy on the skin - it sinks in like a serum, but provides deep hydration for skin that is parched.

For daytime, I would recommend Lancôme Hydra Zen Neurocalm Moisturising Cream SPF15 - again it's not too heavy and won't go oily during the day, but leaves the skin looking soft and glowy, and provides an SPF 15 protection.
