I never thought I would be the kind to spend $47 on a can of mousse….and I know the question on everyone’s lips is…. is it worth it?!

I never thought I would be the kind to spend $47 on a can of mousse….and I know the question on everyone’s lips is…. is it worth it?! The answer is a resounding YES! Why?? Because it is one of the best hair products I have ever used. I have fine hair and I’ve tried so many other mousse products that have left my hair feeling greasy, sticky, too stiff and with that crunchy residue that I just cannot stand. The Shu Uemura Art of Hair Ample Angora mousse is different and in a league of its own. It leaves hair soft and silky like its namesake Angora. The mousse provides volume, long-lasting hold, is flexible and hair feels smooth and soft. It states that it contains Japanese cedar buds to boost volume and body to the roots and it works wonders on air-dried styles as well as blow dried.   After washing my hair and towel drying I add a 50 cent coin amount of product to my hands and distribute this evenly, scrunching it through my hair from the roots to mid lengths. The foam is lightweight and adds bounce to my fine hair without ever weighing it down or leaving any stickiness. It withstands the elements, providing me with volume, natural movement, and a silky finish. It provides lasting control throughout the day even in the summer heat and humidity. It is lightly scented with a luxe fragrance which is hard to describe but smells ‘expensive’!. It really is the ultimate hair product for me which I use on a daily basis. I will happily continue to repurchase this, as I can’t do without it for my flat fine hair. It works and delivers on all fronts and has saved me from countless bad hair days.    The only downside I can think of is that there are limited stockists of this product. It can be hard to find… it’s so good that it is sold out at times!!

I alternate between this and the blue kerastase foam.

This is my favourite, but one star off just because it’s so expensive.

I’d buy it again. I have almost waist length, fine hair but lots of it.

I don’t have much breakage on the ends, so I can’t say if this is drying or not.

This is so light weight as it says, but not crunchy in any way and g...

    Umm, amazing.

Your hair actually feels as soft as Angora, but has a huge amount of volume & style-ability.
