Shu Umera has restored my hair

Kate

My hair was left in a bad way from my previous haircare range. I purchased numerous products from the Shu Umera range including a mini travel size pack of the colour lustre range. The shampoo restored my dry hair and maintained the vibrancy of my mahogany colour. A little really goes a long way with all of the Shu Umera shampoo and conditioner. Super impressed by these products.

Not great for blonde

Roxybella

I have blonde streaks and unfortunately this shampoo does not maintain my hairs colour, lustre or moisture. I found the name colour lustre deceiving. An expensive shampoo with very little results. Had to change shampoo after two weeks as my hair was becoming brittle and dry. Did not notice any scent.

  2. Luxe shampoo purchase

I have used many high end luxury hair products & prefer this one as it seems to suit my hair type. I have naturally blond but highlighted hair which I have coloured every six weeks. The colour remains fresh between salon appointments using this shampoo & you don’t seem to get a build up like some other brands. Blond hair is generally finer than other hair colours & some shampoos are too heavy, but this is not the case with this one. Also Shu Uemura products smell so divine. I’ll continue using this product.
  3. best in range shampoo

    ALyson

Love this product, I find it to be the pick of the Shu bunch. Leaves hair soft and manageable, not convinced it is any better for colour than other brands but the texture and gentle cleaning power is unmatched so far for me. Big bottle for the price.
  4. Not sure...

I got this as part of a christmas set (such an awesome deal, thanks adore!) which included conditioner and hair oil. I've reviewed each products separately.

My hairdresser used this shampoo on me and it felt really great. But using it myself, the shampoo feels pretty standard. I have fine hair which gets oily easily and I feel that this doesn't help with that. Therefore one star off.

Oh and the smell of this... I personally don't mind it but I can also see how this might not be everyone's cup of tea. If you want something that smells nice, try the urban moisture line!

Probably my favourite shampoo from the shu range, it's gentle and lather well and smells amazing! I don't have coloured hair but i like using it for it's gentle and balancing properties
  6. Luxe shampoo

I was recommended this shampoo by my hairdresser who only had great things to say about this product so I thought I would try it.
I normally use Kerastase products but this is equally as good.
I'm a natural blonde but have highlights regularly so im always on the look out for products that won't dull my colour & this is perfect. I shampoo every second day & have been using this for about 6 weeks now & my colour has remained the same with no dulling which sometimes happens with some brands.
My hair tends to be more fine & this product seems to thicken it as well even though its not the thickening shampoo from this range, still makes a lot of difference to the over all appearance & manageability.
It is more expensive than Kerastase but it is a larger bottle too. It also lathers up extremely well. I'm happy with this product.

  8. Worth it!

Well worth the money, this is an amazing shampoo and so is the conditioner! I have fine, long blonde colored hair and this works a treat for me.
  9. Amazing scent!!!

    Mel

I used this range when I went from bleach blonde to a dark blonde. I was looking for a shampoo that protected the new colour from fading quickly and left it shiny.

The scent of this range is amazing and the shampoo left my hair thoroughly cleaned. It was kind on my colour and left my hair shiny.

    Would reccomend.
