Really wanted to like this but I have only used it once and my hair felt very dry and 'straw like' afterwards.

Bleached my black hair a few years ago and my hair was snapping to the point I had to cut everything off. I tried everything such as Olaplex, Kevin Murphy, Redken hair, Morrocan oil and this product was my holy grail. Works best for dry or damaged hair and you can feel instantly how revived it is. This mask really don’t what it says! I left mine in for 10 minutes and my hair feels amazing. So soft, smooth and hydrated. I usually have very dry ends and this has done wonders. I loved the smell of this mask! Worked well when my hair was colour treated but not too damaged. It doesn’t do much after a while using it though and now that my hair is really damaged by bleach I can’t notice much improvement on my hair when I use it. Each time I go in for a cut and blow wave I always request an in salon treatment, which can add up to $50 to the cost. Since using Shu, I never bother with in salon as this is better! I’m undecided on this product! Whilst it certainly does what it says it will, I find it to be quite heavy on my hair, (I have fine, oily hair) I found it felt better after I washed it out and still felt soft - so would still certainly recommend for most hair types!Everything my hair needs

I have never bleached my hair however the ends are naturally dry, I have had this problem since I was 16 yo. I was sceptical when buying this as there’s a lot of hair masks out there claiming to hydrate and repair damaged hair etc. But I can honestly say that this purchase was worth it! After a couple washes my hair feels soft and smooth which usually after using products the ends still feel coarse and dry.

I used this on my very damaged hair, i was having difficulty brushing as it was very knotty, after one use it smoothed it out and was instantly more manageable. i have used about 4 times now and have seen more hydrated results!Great smell and product

Very strong fragrance- smells great by the way, but gave me a pretty bad allergic reaction- eyes, itchy throat, itchy skin on back even though I washed thoroughly and with soap after using the mask.. and itchy scalp for days after.
