Most Helpful Positive

A winner !

Kaz

I am fussy with hair spray - I have fine oily hair, chin length bob. I managed to get a bouncy volume look with this spray without it looking too stiff and 'done'. I got a natural look that held for the night and was easy to comb out. I am coming back for the big size.

Most Helpful Criticism

Slightly better-smelling, but at the end of the day, it's nothing revolutionary

Pamela

It's very nice, in terms of keeping movement in the hair and adding gloss (without that "plastic" lacquer look that a lot of hairsprays that make the same claim do), but it *is* still sticky, and crunchy, and can be a bit of a literal pain to brush through if you got it anywhere near the roots on your neck. There was definitely a bit of tugging and discomfort.
And while it does keep movement in the hair, it still feels distinctly crisp. Admittedly, what I am after is a product that chemically sets style but *feels* reasonably soft to the touch - I am starting to feel like that may simply be asking too much, and I should give up on the quest.
As for the claims about smell, it's certainly nicer than regular hairspray, but I still wouldn't want to use it in an unventilated space.

Honestly, to sum up my experience; this is a very nice hairspray, but it is still *just* a hairspray, not the miracle, life-changing product it's gotten hype as. I bought this miniature package to trial the product without forking over my life's savings for the full size, and while I will definitely not be giving the rest of my can *away*, I won't be buying the big one once it's done.
At $20 for the full-sized can, this could be a winner. But at *twice* that, it's probably overpriced and at all the buzz, it's probably overvalued. Just my thoughts.

No fuss, easy to use and reliable hairspray to take on any holiday. Lasts for ages for a travel size

  3. Can get a bit helmet-y

    Kishlette

I have straight, fine hair and usually need a bit of product to help it hold a curl. I've tried lots of flexible hairsprays to help my curls looking natural rather than too stiff. While I usually love R+Co products, this one didn't wow me. I could definitely feel it in my hair - a little crispy and a little helmet-y if I went too far. It definitely does work as a hairspray but I've found better flexible ones that don't leave any stiffness. Probably not something I'd recommend.
  4. Solid hairspray

    Sam

Great hairspray - left my hair in place all day and night without the crispy feeling you get from some others on the market.

    I'll definitely be purchasing again.
  5. Love it!

    Simon

This hairspray gives me hair a good hold without becoming crunchy. I have fine hair, and it is not too heavy or too stiff. It’s got a decent smell, and it doesn’t make me feel like I’m suffocating as I spray it! Hairspray users know that’s a pretty big deal. Will buy again.
