I tend to use it when my hair has a bit too much product in it or is a little greasy but not overly so; usually I would have to do a full shampoo and condition but now I use Analog instead. It feels lovely in the hair - very conditioning and doesn't leave my hair knotted. It doesn't leave my hair weighed down at all once dry; instead, it just seems like it has some styling lotion in it - a little more hold and texture than when freshly washed with shampoo and conditioner. My hair is neither too dry nor too greasy, it feels nice and soft. It's a real time saver too. Between Analog and R+Co Spiritualized, I'm using my usual shampoo and conditioner less than ever!
The only con is that it's quite expensive when you compare using it to the cost of a doing a shampoo and condition. That said, if it's gentler on my hair and can save me time on days when I'm in a rush, I can justify keeping it on hand. It definitely will be useful for as a post-workout product that's for sure.
I think it would work well on pretty much any hair type to extend the time between full washes...potentially could be too conditioning for very oily hair but mine's not so I couldn't say for sure.
I own the full size version for home and this is perfect for travel or to take to the gym. Great stuff
