Who are Penhaligon’s?

William Penhaligon set out from his rural hometown to start a grooming business in London. Originally working as a barber in the hammam, the Turkish baths on Jermyn Street, he was inspired by the billowing fragrances of the baths to create his first fragrance, Hammam Bouquet. He opened a store in the bath selling fragrances and grooming goods, and in no time at all had attracted the attention of kings and queens the world over. Inspired by fine ingredients sourced from all around the world, Penhaligon’s was born, with a fragrance lineage like no other. To this day, you can see the original iconic Penhaligon’s bottle on the entire range, even on the Penhaligon’s miniatures.

The smell lingers, and lingers for days and is very very different! A Special, especial, distinctive, beautiful scent with so much character.

This is a really beautiful scent that’s quite similar to Coco Mademoiselle., although the staying power is not as good. The bottle is pretty and has a real old fashioned charm to it.

It's an exotic and elegant fragarance yet it is not overbearing. It is crisp and feminine without being sweet.

I love the mix of soft floral notes mixed with sandlewood and citrus fruits that give this perfume a truly beautiful scent.
It is perfect for a spring day - as the scent just reminds me of crisp mornings with sunny days!
A few sprays in the morning will last all day and night, so the bottle lasts awhile.
