I expected a good quality retinol product as I had read some really good reviews. Sadly, the serum in this tube has 'split' and you literally get 2 different solutions squeezed out of the tube. Firstly, there is a clear/yellow oily solution and then there is a milky, creamy solution. No amount of shaking the tube seems to encourage the two to emulsify. I prefer this retinol treatment from this brand rather than their other product (skin intense clarity treatment: 0.5% pure retinol) as it is much less irritating to my skin. I didn’t notice any major irritation even when using this every day. It leaves my skin looking smoother and clears any clear of any breakouts.
