I recieved a sample of this and was excited to try.l given the great reviews. Unfortunately my hair did not love it. I have long, fine, normal to oily hair and this made it feel stripped and dry. It took at least two washes for my hair to feel 'clean' and I found that my hair seemed to get oilier roots faster than with my other shampoos. Wow... you are in for a real treat! I first tried the Gold Lust conditioner and I fell in love and I had to try the shampoo. The Gold lust range has an incredible smell that will really make your day. It lathers perfectly and my hair has never looked and felt better. I was worried about it being too heavy and rich but the oil control is perfect. I can go for longer without the need to wash.

This shampoo is so much better than any drug store surfactant filled cheap shampoo. It has a luxurious smell and a little goes a long way. It has a slight lather that I leave in my hair in the shower after applying a pea sized amount. Then I wash it down to my ends as I have very long hair. I received this as a sample and having a sensitive scalp i was unsure if this would be worth trying. In saying that i did try it and it was beautiful. I loved this shampoo and conditioner. I always used the original one but when I tried the gold lust I loved it. However when I tried it I was swimming everyday and in salt water. Now that I’m not (winter) I find it makes my hair really oily really fast.Actually a bit of a letdown
Oribe really appeals to me aesthetically. The packaging is stunning. But I’m quite surprised how disappointing this shampoo was for me. As I’m washing my hair, I can just feel that it’s not quite right somehow. First day is alright, but by day 2, my hair starts to look dark and oily. This is a lovely shampoo and really feels like it cleans my hair and scalp well, plus the scent is heavenly. However, it can leave my scalp and top of my hair feeling a little dry and itchy, so I tend to follow with a moisturising mask now and then to combat any dryness. I found this product extremely drying on my hair. It left my hair feeling like straw. It also made my scalp extremely itchy. I'm not sure if it's the protein in the product that wasn't good for my hair. HOWEVER,
I recommended this one to my friend and her result was very different from mine. So, I believe that type of hair and other hidden factors have major impact on your experience...But if you do try it and it will suit your hair then you are lucky cos I do enjoy this product a lot!
