Most Helpful Positive

Excellent
A really good product. You just have to get used to it not being the same as most cleansers you’ve used. It’s oily. I use a cotton facial pad to apply it and whisk off makeup and grime. Just a little skirt does the trick! I then remove the oily residue with a very warm wet face cloth. My skin feels clean, soft, and calm afterward, ready for serums and creams. It’s not cheap but I think it will last a long time as I need only use a little.

Good as long as you like feel of oils
It’s like micellar water, but in a watery oil. It cleans really well, and gets makeup off. But even if you rinse with water, your skin feels oily which I’m not a huge fan of. I’ve been using it as the first of a double cleanse, but using a foaming cleanser as the 2nd wash, which does he trick for me. Skin left feeling lovely afterwards.
  1. Great

It’s a large bottle so definitely lasts a long time, cleans well but does have an oily feeling afterwards (which I really enjoy as I have dry acne prone skin). I’m also really sensitive to products but this one has been a really good experience. Recommend it!

  3. Amazing but needs some tweaks

While LVCE dissolves makeup better than any oil cleanser I've ever used, I had two issues with it.
    1) The packaging is messy. Putting it in a pump bottle fixed that.
    2) I couldn't actually get the product off my face! I'd have black eyeliner dissolved and streaked across my cheeks; the only way of removing it was to scrape it off with a rough towel or double-cleanse, which I didn't want to do around my eyes. Using it alone, my skin got clogged up and broke out with 3 weeks because it left too much film.
I nearly gave up on it but then thought that, if I could add an emulsifier, it might wash clean (like how Kiehl's oil cleanser works). I researched emulsifiers and found cosmetic-grade Polysorbate-80 for a few dollars on eBay. Approx. 85% LVCE to15% Polysorbate-80 does the trick. Now I have the best of both worlds - an awesome cleanser that also washes clean.
If you're having similar issues, it's the perfect fix!
