Another fave from an underrated house
I bought Bois de Gaiac et Poire because it has a really nice shift from opening to drydown. It starts fresh fruity floral which sounds boring but its just happy and uplifting. Then it settles into those perfect soft woods that I reckon they do best. This is not a challenging scent, or even likely to make anyone stop you in the street and ask you what it is - but it IS comforting, close, personal and romantic in a dreamy way. Sometimes thats all you need.
Only removing a star since it's not got the greatest longevity (again, due to it being a more personal scent) BUT, it does come in 100ml so spray with abandon! I think this would be divine in summer.
