Caused bad outbreak of milia

Teresa

I didn't even know what milia is until I got it. Have been using this eye cream religiously for 5 months, morning and night, was very happy with it's performance, very moisturising, lovely smell, lessened my smile lines and puffiness. Recently bought myself an el cheapo LED 5x magnifying beauty mirror, lo and behold, what my prescription glasses never spotted before was a big ugly nest of white bumps under my inner eye area. Dr Google informed me it is a build up of keratin trapped under the skin which if not expelled naturally turn into little cysts. Further investigation let me back to Adore Beauty's website where a helpful article told me to avoid eye creams that contain 'occlusive ingredients' such as mineral oil and wax. Sure enough, this eye cream contains buckwheat wax. So while it's a lovely eye cream, I'm giving it 2.5 stars for the milia outbreak, and am moving on to Dermalogica Age Reversal Eye Complex, which Adore Beauty tells me contains a gentle retinol formulation which will help draw out these little white buggers and make me look younger. Fingers crossed!!
  1. Light eye serum

    HairFaceBody

I've used this for about 7 months now and the texture is very light like a serum. I started to see results after 3-4 months, applying 2x per day. I prefer a thicker textured eye cream in winter so I'll keep using this under a cream during the drier colder months. A good option for sensitive skin.

  3. Nice....just not WOW

    Mimi

I ummed and aahed about whether to get this or the L'Occitane Eye Balm...I went for this one being the cheaper of the two. This is certainly a nice eye contour cream, it does hydrate and leave my skin feeling more nourished BUT...there's something missing in the overall experience for me to justify the nearly 100 bucks! There's alot of product left in the bottle too at the end which is a pain to...

  4. Good

Good hydrating serum, has a good consistency but does not help with puffiness. Does help with dark circles.
  5. Loving it

    Alex

This is a surprisingly light-weight cream, glides on effortlessly. I have sensitive skin and easily irritated eyes. This product passes both those tests and leaves my eyes looking great in the morning.
  6. Liked it but expected more

This is a beautiful cream. It is light and blends nicely into the skin. The results weren't as miraculous as I'd been led to believe they would be. I seemed to go through this product a lot faster than expected, even though you only need small amounts. I was disappointed to find a signifigant amount of product left at the bottom of the jar that the pump doesn't reach at rhe end of the product, res...

  7. Lovely!

    Eve

I have sensitive skin and this eye treatment has worked great. It' a small bottle but you do only use a little at a time. I find it very hydrating and the scent is divine.
  8. Eye Heaven

    Nita

The eye cream is a consistency that lies between a serum and a cream, thin and light like a serum but some of the denseness of a cream. This exact texture made applying the eye cream so easy. It’s a pearly white colour and has the familiar Immortelle flower and Myrtle Essential Oil scent, although. The instructions say to place 1-2 pumps onto your fingertips (middle 3 fingers) and warm the product...
