This is my first product containing some form of retinol (pro-retinol) and I haven’t had any reactions, I love the richness and am surprised that it isn’t greasy! I found the fragrance to be quite strong so I only use it with other unscented/less fragranced products.Moisture
I do not find the fragrance overpowering unlike other reviewers. In fact I didn't even notice it. My skin feels better the next day after using this, and I have dry skin and it replenishes moisture well. It also feels like a good mid range product. Much better value than other cheaper brands because it's thicker so lasts longer. It is comfortable and soaks in ok.Allergic Reaction
Thought I would try this product as it was on special at the time. After 3 nights of use my skin has a red like chemical burn, it's swollen, itchy and red bumps have appeared all over my face. I have used other L'Oreal products with no ill effects. When researching on line I have found others with a similar experience. A nice thick luxurious night creams that went on smoothly, wasn't oily and absorbed quickly. My skin felt smooth and softer in the morning and it didn't leave oils on my pillow. Having said that, overly occlusive creams can often be a bit too oily on my skin and make me break out, and this product did not do that. Revitalift is lovely on the skin, smells great. Usually I have problems where all products make my skin feel oily or they don't absorb in. Using L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Night Cream on the first night you can see the results. Even my sisters told me that my skin looked different.
