The Skinstitut Retinol 0.25% is a corrective light weight gel, to promote skin renewal and repair.

Extra Tips:

• Do not over use product
• Avoid eye region as this may cause irritation, sensitivity and mild swelling
• Avoid applying over broken or sensitised skin as this may cause excessive irritation and/or peeling
• Use to prep skin for dermal therapy modalities: Chemical peels, Microdermabrasion, Skin Needling, IPL/Laser
• Discontinue use 2-3 days prior to Laser/IPL, to avoid photo sensitised reactions
• Do not use immediately after dermal therapy modalities until the skin has re-epithelialised, usually 3-10 days post treatment
• Sensitivity, redness and mild peeling may occur with initial use, skin will normalise within 2-4 weeks (Retinoid Reaction Period)
• Daily use over a month is required to achieve dramatic results

What is the Skinstitut retinol percentage?

Skinstitut Retinol contains 0.25% retinol, making it a low-medium strength product that is suitable product for most skin types. As with all retinol usage, you should introduce this into your routine slowly, especially if you have not used retinol before, or have not used it recently. 

How to use Skinstitut Retinol

• Apply a pea sized amount every other evening, building up to every evening on clean dry skin

• Gently stroke outwardly in a circular motion, gradually spreading onto entire face, neck and chest

• Avoid the eye area
