Great primer for everyday makeup. eyeshadow always looks great and the price is great too

Not convinced

Didn’t really do anything for me, I found the product actually increased my eyeshadow going into the crease on my eyelid. Wouldn’t recommend.
  1. Not a fan

I really did not like this product. The consistency was almost oily when I used it, and for my already oily skin type - it was a bit of a disaster. So much creasing and made my eyeshadow look like a mess.

  3. great

So great. Product is quite smooth and silky and very pigmented. Great price too.
  4. decent for the price

for the price it actually is not bad, does an okay job.
  5. Amazing!

Just love the shade sheer for priming my eyes the eye shadow applies nice and smooth and stays put. Soo good and so well priced.

  7. Good stuff

I don't see much of a difference but my eyeshadow doesn't fade or smudge so I give it a win.
  8. Doesn't amplify eyeshadows

My eyeshadows applied on top don't of this primer don't seem to 'grip' and aren't amplified in colour to texture. I like the Creamy HD concealer as an eyeshadow primer more than this guy.
  9. Not enough coverage!

I purchased this a while ago and only really used it once! It has little to no coverage so it doesn't make anything you put on top really pop. There is no lasting power either.. I found just bring my normal concealer up to my lids worked better than this!
  10. Didn't rate this primer

I used this primer for little while and found that it didn't really sink in to my skin enough to set a good base for my eyeshadow. My eyeshadow applied nicely but ended up sinking into the crease on my eyelid after an hour or so. Wouldn't buy again.
  11. good for the price

it is a good primer for the price. it can be used for daily makeup routines. easy to apply and lasts for about 8 hours
  12. Primes

Decent eyeshadow primer. It tends to just even out the veins on my eyes. It doesn't extend longevity of wear. May be a bit ashy on deep skin
  13. Good eyeshadow base

This is a good primer for the price. I used it religiously before I could afford higher end products. I still use it when I'm doing a quick look as it is super easy to apply and once set with a little powder keeps eyeshadows in place all day/night.
  14. Disappointing

This primer was disappointing as it didn't make my eyeshadow last at all - you pay for what you get and I don't think it's worth it.
  15. Great eyeshadow primer

Great eyeshadow primer for the cost.

Does a great job of prepping and priming the eyelids.
I ensure to set it with a skin coloured shadow to get the best results.

Helps blend shadows out and stops any patchyness, even with cheap eyeshadows.

Also helps with longevity, nothing worse than your eyeshadow fading before lunchtime.
    One tube lasted me we...

  16. doesn't work well

purchased the pearl primer, was dry and chalky, didn't stock well and made no difference to eye shadow staying power
  17. Good

absolutely love the shade sheer for priming my eyes I feel like my shadow applies nicely and stays put. As for the shade ivory I would not recommend it’s very chalky, patchy, also most glittery, and patches. I also wish this product lasted longer before running out.
  18. I've been using this for years and will keep buying

I've brought a lot of this... like a lot. I've been using it for about 8 years now. I find it excellent! My eyeshadow easily lasts 12 hours or more when I use this. Without using it my eyeshadow is gone or all collected in my crease in an hour. I have hooded eyes and tend to get oily lids... can't go wrong for $6
  19. Don’t bother

I bought this in sheer and pearl. The pearl was dry and useless - literally, I couldn’t use it because it barely went on my lids. It had big chunks of glitter as well which was not nice at all. The sheer was a little bit better but still nothing to write home about. It was a skin shade but really thin and didn’t have that tacky feeling that I was looking for in a good primer. It just didn’t feel l...

  20. okay not good

Nothing to go crazy about there are much better products for cheaper such as the blam put a lid on it. Okay but not great
  21. Alright

This product does even out the skin tone of my eyelids and covers up my veins so my eyeshadow can pop a bit more but it doesn’t particularly make it last longer. I also found this eye primer quite greasy and I personally feel as if it makes my eyeshadow move around on my lids which just looks weird.
  22. Not very effective

This doesn't make any eyeshadow last any longer than putting it on a bare eyelid! Wouldn't buy it again.
  23. okay

this is okay. it works pretty well for the price, but doesnt make your eyeshadow last much longer. smooths out the base well though.
  24. It's OK

Not a very good eye shadow base but I like to use a touch of this on my nose and it stops me losing foundation in that area through the day
  25. Doesn't work.

This primer was thick and didn't agree with my oily eyelids. The eyeshadow I put over the top of it looked cakey and by the end of the night, most of it had come off except the patches that were stuck in the creases of my eyelids, which looked awful! I feel my eye makeup would've lasted longer without it!
  26. Disappointed

After being a fan of a lot of ELF products, I gave the eyelid primer a try. It was a very greasy consistency, and I felt as though my eyeshadow would have applied better without anything. This primer made the eyeshadow apply patchy which was disappointing as they have so many other great products. I would give this one a miss, especially if you are an oily skintype.
  27. Not great for oily eyelids

After trying these for a couple of weeks, alas it makes no effect. I apply my eye makeup (eye shadow, pencil) at ~7:45am, and by by usual time of ~10:30am, the make up is almost gone from it's intended position with a build up of shadow in the crease - as usual.

I really wanted this to work.

If there was a store that I could take it back to, I would.

    I would...

  28. A decent primer

I haven’t used a lot of eye primers before to compare too, but this seems to do what it says ot will. Eyeshadow applies nicely on top of it. I haven’t noticed a significant difference in the staying power of my eyeshadow when using this but it definitely hasn’t decreased it anyway. Happy to keep using this.
  29. Good

Happy with it, though not as sheer as I'd hoped (so don't use any crappy eye shadow with it). Holds fairly well throughout the day.
