Dermalogica Eye Treatments

Eyes. They’re one of the most beautiful and expressive parts of our faces…but as luck would have it, they’re also the first to show signs of ageing. No matter how old you are, fine lines, dark circles and puffiness are bound to show at some point, so it pays to invest in a good eye cream.

Why use eye cream

Eyes are an extremely delicate part of the face. The skin is naturally thinner there and contains no oil glands. This means that it’s naturally more prone to dehydration – and therefore wrinkles. It also tends to be more sensitive than other areas, reddening or getting inflammed easily.

Although a regular moisturiser – the sort you use on the rest of your face – is rich and nourishing, it simply won’t provide enough hydration for the super thirsty skin around your eyes.

Enter eye cream. We particularly love Dermalogica Total Eye Care SPF15 and Dermalogica Intensive Eye Repair.

Designed specifically for this area of the face, these creams will provide just the levels of moisturisation that’s needed not only to keep the skin soft and smooth but also ward off the appearance of fine lines. Those creases are far less likely to deepen (or appear in the first place, if you start using eye cream when you’re still young!) if the complexion is sufficiently hydrated.
