Who are Creed?

Royal & exclusive. A prestigious family-run fragrance house with doors closed to the public until the seventies, Creed was founded in 1760 where it became in favour with the Court of England. Creed earned the respect of Queen Victoria, and was soon after appointed to be the court’s official fragrance supplier. This honour was not long after bestowed upon Creed from many other great courts of Europe. Creed’s sheer quality and originality made their fragrances highly in demand as refined status symbols, with recognition from the likes of Empress Eugénie, Napoleon III, Francois-Joseph and Elizabeth of Austria-Hungary. As Creed rose in fame, it prompted the fragrance house’s move from London to Paris to better collaborate with Creed’s exclusive clientele. To this day, Creed remains a family business, the only fragrance family that have their own scent distillery, allowing them to never compromise on their quality and artistry.
