I love this product. Helps to exfoliate dead skin cells while leaving your face feeling soft and hydrated.

  2. Amazing!

    Amy

I was truly blown away by the effect of this product. It peels off your dead skin leaving it feeling and looking soft, refreshed and new.
  3. Clean skin

    Alicia

I’ve never used a product like it. Applies like a cream, leave it then rub it off, all your dead skin comes off too. It makes a bit of a mess, just do it over the sink. Skin is so smooth afterwards.
  4. Gentle exfoliater

    Tennille

This has a delicate texture but is very effective, your skin feels like it can "breathe" after using
  5. Great cream!

    Alex

I would highly recommend this product. It leaves the skin soft and silky, and the tube lasts a long time.
  6. Lovely

must love this peel. This is my third purchase and it is so effective. You can see visible results, both in the peeled-of layers of skin and skin surface--brighter and smoother. Prevents skin from peeling for me and keeps it lively looking.
  7. A Classic!

This is one of those products that you need to be taught how to use correctly. Fortunately, I started using it (under its original name) back in the 70s, in a time when Clarins gave mini-facials in the department stores (do they still do this?)

When used correctly, it does all it's meant to do, and my skin feels incredibly soft and smooth...

Firstly, you need to squeeze a good glob onto the palm of one hand, and then warm it with the fingers of the other hand. Then you spread it evenly (fairly thinly, but visible) over the entire face (and neck/chest if you like). Wait about a minute, and then press into the skin. When it's dry, start rubbing it off - using one hand to keep the skin taut and the other to peel. Keep gently sloughing it off until most of the product is removed, and then rinse any leftover bits off with warm water. Follow with toner and products of your choice.

The entire process is definitely more time consuming than a scrub, but it seems to grab old skin, dirt and oils, and carries them away. I absolutely love it, and used to use it weekly until I got sick and didn't have the energy...

I hope this helps people who don't know how to use it, and are disappointed with the results. xxx

I love Clarins products, but this is my first disappointment. The description "acts like a cosmetic eraser - smoothing, deep cleansing and brightening dull complexions" lead me to believe it is an exfoliator, as it claims to use "polishing microbeads". There was nothing exfoliating about it. It is a beautifully smooth, silvery cream that is more like a moisturiser in feel than something meant to polish your skin. It was more like a stock standard clay mask than an exfoliator. I liked that the clay base didn't dry my skin out, but in the end it did not match my expectation at all. I am disappointed that their description is so inaccurate and feel like I wasted $48.
