Most Helpful Positive

Everyday product

Sayera

Rustling rose lives permanently in my handbag, and in my pencil case during school. It’s the perfect amount of tint that I can put it on without looking put it still shows as pretty everyday pink. The application is a little obnoxious because of the clicking noise, but it’s easy to use.

Most Helpful Criticism

Rustling Rose...just okay

Mimi

I was hoping for some glam shine, I did get a little...but not enough to make me purchase this again. This has a lovely reddy brown tint and does feel really moisturising...but it just seems to come off way too quickly for my liking

  2. Decent nude lip oil

    Anne

The nude colour tint is very flattering on my light olive skin tone, and I can imagine that it would look just as good on many other skin tones as well. The oil is not as hydrating as I had hoped it would be, however perhaps if you don't have dry lips like me then you can appreciate the product more.
  3. caramel cloud

    anna

a pretty nudey brown shade that will suit many skin tones. the lip oil is very soothing and gives a natural shine.
  4. Splash of colour

    Jess

I love this tinted oil for the shades of colour on offer and the way it keeps my lips feeling soft and hydrated while also providing a nice colour that is buildable. Only downside is that I was hoping for a longer lasting tint but unfortunately the colour doesn't last after eating, drinking etc. Overall still a good product.

  6. Useful in your handbag

    Sophie

My skin tone is dark and the Whispering Orchid colour is light and natural on my lips. The product is thin and delicate on the lips. It makes them feel delightful. A downside is that you can't see when the product is near its end.
  7. Whispering Orchard shade is the best

    Kristy

I'm really into the whispering Orchard shade. It makes my lips really stand out. I like using it because it's very easy to apply.
  8. Wow! Wow!

    Jen

Gives a great, glassy shine! Love everything from Burt's Bees. Goes on perfectly and long-lasting.
  9. Rustling Rose

    Perfecting Skin

super hydrating and great color. great for everyday use.
  10. Caramel cloud

    Maree

I love caramel cloud. It’s a very natural everyday colour and has a beautiful shine to it. Definitely a favourite, reminds me of the Estée Lauder one
  11. Shimmery Perfection

    Kaylah

Love the brand! Goes on perfectly and is pretty long-lasting for a lip gloss. Gives a great, classy shine!
  12. Cute, but short lived

    Robyn

I have the brown-rose coloured one, which is a great every day colour.
I like that this feels like and smooth on the lips and has a slight sheen.
However, I don't feel like this stayed on my lips for very long at all - maybe 30 minutes and I'm not keen to be reapplying that frequently throughout my day, so depends how quickly you wear you're looking for.
  13. Hello! Amazing

    Ema

Orchid is the most striking colour on fair skin/green eyes. I’ve found the best way to use it is a bit odd - but the result is worth it; I paint my lips, let it sit for a minute, then do an old school tissue dab to remove excess. This leaves my lips tinted. I then swipe a small amount of original lanolips on top and wow - the result is gorgeous. My lips but better - just been kissed look! Recommen...

  14. Lovely oil

    Ariane

A very nice tinted oil for your lips.. Can be born alone or over a lippie for more shine, either way it feels lovely, gives a lovely sheer look and feels moisturising.
  15. Love

    M

I really like all Burts bees lip products. This works really well and the colour is beautiful. Doesn’t dry out my lips
  16. Tinted lips

    Kathleen

i love tinted lip balm! it doesn't dry out your lips! and they have a wide range of colors!
  17. Awesome

    Liz

Love burt bees products. They are natural and super good quality and value. The tint is hydrating and feels superb on lips. Will recommend.
  18. wow

    Abbey

I've never tried anything like this and I'm really happy I did, great subtle colour and unique application
  19. Gorgeous

    Ellie

This is one of my favourite lip products. Lightweight and has a lovely, subtle scent. I have fair skin and the caramel cloud shade is a perfect nude gloss for me. It looks lovely on it's own and goes well over lipstick too. The only reason for 4 stars is that it doesn't last long and I have to apply it frequently. I would purchase it again.
  20. Converted

    Kylie

Wasn't sure about the oil but I'm converted. Burts Bee's make my kind of lip products. Moisturising, comfortable with a hint of colour.
  21. Good if you don’t like heavy makeup

    Kay

A light gloss with a light, beautiful colour. Suitable if you don’t like heavy makeup
  22. Good for natural days

    Ess

Perfect for when I want a makeup-free day but still want a bit of gloss!
  23. Nice oil

    Kylie

Really nice lipgloss/oil. Nice and light, not sticky. Great colour and great for everyday wear.
  24. Rustling Rose

    Becks

This is great. The colour matches my lip shade perfectly. I find the Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks quite drying, so I apply a bit of this over Pillow Talk or Very Victoria, to give them more moisture, without changing the colour of them too much. Also great on it’s own to hydrate with a hint of colour.
  25. Great natural lip

    Frances

Love for a natural looking lip, but oil is a bit slippy/sticky.
  26. Really into the packaging

    Abel

When I wear it, my lips feel hydrated and fresh. It's excellent.
  27. Liked the colour but not great design

    Amy

The colour and scent of these were beautiful but within a month the brushes went a mouldy colour and smelt very bad. A better design needed.
  28. Such a nice lip oil

    Carly

Love this in the caramel and am never without it in my bag. Makes my lips so soft and smooth. Not a dark colour but nice for day to day
  29. natural sheen

    Ka

This was the first lip oil I've tried. I like how it's non-sticky but still gives a shine to the lips. The colour is quite subtle and acts more like a light sheen/ tint. Not very pigmented, but I enjoy this for a natural look.
  30. Good for Everyday

    Tina

This might not be the most pigmented or longlasting product ever but on days where I just cant be bothered to apply anything to my face, this is usually what I gravitate towards. A pick me up for my lips that just adds a hint of colour to brighten my complexion.
  31. BURT'S BEES TINTED LIP OIL

    Zhaowei

The colour looks stronger on the applicator but because of the oil it give a beautiful hint of colour.
  32. Pretty good

    Rose

A nice little tint that keeps my lips moisturised while providing a nice pop of colour
  33. Great

    Abby

Would just to start off with this is not a sticky formula and that is my main reason i purchased this, i am obsessed with colour range and quality of this.it is great
  34. Almost invisible

    anipat77

I really wanted to like this product as I like Burt’s Bees a lot!
To start with the positives : it has a nice feel on, not too sticky and is fairly moisturising.
The negative is that it looks almost invisible on my pale anemic lips! I chose the Crimson colour and even that is barely noticeable even when I apply a generous amount.
Wouldn’t buy again for myself but may work if y...

  35. Great product!

    Dani

Really like this product. I got the caramel cloud colour. Great natural colour, just enough tint. Product isn't too sticky on the lips and easy to wear. I like the convenience of the twist up tube, however it took forever to get the product out initially!
  36. Interesting

    Anish

Never used a lip oil before this and it's interesting. Takes getting used to but overall I like it.
  37. Loving it

    Kylie

Burt’s bees make some of my favourite lip products. I’ve just bought my first lip oil to try and I must say I like it. The applicator is a little fiddly but once the product is on your lips it’s lovely and hydrating with a nice hint of colour.

  38. good

    Jessica

not sticky at all and a very thin product that has an amazing effect, im not a fan of the applicator as personally i find they get germs in them easier but thats just me, however its such a good product.
  39. Very hydrating

    Amanda

Gives a nice colour and feels very hydrating on the lips. I love this for day to day wear.
  40. Pretty good

    Kellee

It takes a lot of "clicks" for the product to come out at first but the actual product is great. It is sheer, but I layer it on top of my Burt's Bees lipstick for extra shine. The lip oil has a very natural finish and isn't sticky at all.
  41. Pretty good

    sophie

Super hydrating! I probably prefer tinted lip balm over this oil, but it is still a nice product which creates a nice colour on my lips
  42. It's ok

    Lily-Rose

The colour is quite sheer and the product is a little bit oily, but it does provide a nice tint of colour on my lips!
  43. A staple in my bag

    Caitlin

I received the Burt's Bees tinted oil l as a gift and at first was not happy with the slight tint the balm gave my lips. However, with time I learned to love its subtle sheen and appreciate how hydrating it is for my lips. I feel as though I have to have it nearby now in case my lips get dry.
  44. Rustling Rose colour

    Aidan

I have this in Rustling Rose. Its definitely oily, but in a good way. Its like a gloss, that moisturises and it eventually dries to a semi pink colour. Really like it, very subtle. Use it when I go to work for a tint in the lips
  45. Tinted lip oil

    Christine

These are pretty nice, though the shades are very sheer and there's not too much difference between them, especially the lighter ones. It provides a sheer, healthy wash of colour and shine and some moisture to the lips. Like any tinted lip oil it doesn't last past a few hours, but that's to be expected. I have a love-hate relationship with the applicator. Overall decent product!
  46. Good shine

    cass

Really like this product. It's super glossy yet colours are subtle. I'd buy it again
