I've used a fair share of matte lipsticks and there are some lipsticks in gorgeous colours but they just dry my lips out so much and by midday my lips look all shrivelled. Although this is on the pricey side, the colour payoff is gorgeous and it isn't too drying as well. I bought my cousin one in boss pink and she absolutely loves it too.Matte lips

I have the colour Red carpet and it is my absolute fave matte red lip! BB formulas are always so luxurious and this is no exception. It gives the most sophisticated matte look but doesn't dry out the lips and has decent lasting power!Great

I received a deluxe sample of this lipstick. The colour pigmentation is divine, however it is not long-lasting so I need to reapply often. However I find it very hydrating which is great for a matte lipstick.A Great matte
I'm not usually a fan of matte lipsticks because i have dry lips, but though these are matte, they aren't drying at all! They are super comfortable to wear and really pigmented. There are some amazing colours, personally I love the red shade.

I found the darker shades to be better than the lighter onesAmazing, super matte pigment, luxurious packaging, gritty feel and doesn't last super long
I actually do like this product and I receive a lot of compliments when I wear it (I purchased the Crown Jewel colour), but I have noticed that it does not last as long as I would like. It also has a weird, grainy texture when you apply it that takes a little to get used to.

Agree with the other reviewer that these lipsticks do have an odd gritty texture. I actually quite liked this once I got used to it.
