L'Occitane know how to do body care right. This is the most luxurious, beautiful body cream and I wouldn't hesitate to give it 5 stars if it weren't for how quickly I run through this for the price. The almond scent is divine and the texture is to die for. If you want to feel super glamorous and treat yourself, definitely pick up a pot!
After reading all the rave reviews and being recommended it by several people in person, too, I bit the bullet and bought a 250ml bottle of this shower oil. I absolutely love the body scrub and firming concentrate, so hoped this would be the same. Unfortunately, not so. I really struggle to get this to lather, and while I loved the scent of it in the bottle, when it hits water and begins to turn milky, I get an almost wet dog smell from it. It does feel hydrating on the skin, but it just feels far too difficult and faffy to use for the price.
This scrub is amazing if you have sensitive skin that just needs some light exfoliation. It leaves a beautiful hydrating layer on the skin after it's washed off so you don't need to use moisturiser once you hop out of the shower or bath. If you try to apply it to wet skin, it will just slide around, so the best way to use it is to wash your body, towel dry lightly and then apply while the skin is still damp. While it's pricey, I find a tub can last me 6-8 months with generous once or twice a week usage.
This is wonderful if you have very, very dry skin and need something super creamy and hydrating in the shower. The scent is very calming, too. Unfortunately, even with a loofah, I found this very difficult to get to lather even slightly, so while I enjoyed using it up, I never really got that feeling of being properly 'clean' the way I do with other shower gels. If you prefer creamier textured washes, you'll love this.
I like this shampoo for clarifying my hair once or twice a week after using silicone styling products and to help with itchiness and dryness on the scalp, but I've definitely found better products that do the same job more effectively. It leaves the hair feeling slightly dry and almost squeaky clean. Smells divine. Would recommend if you don't really use many styling products in your hair and just want a deep scalp and hair clean once a week or so.
I prefer this to the Garnier as this is more gentle. It won't remove stubborn waterproof mascaras but will help clean off everyday make up. Good for sensitive skin and doesn't irritate the skin. Good step before cleansing your face to ensure all the make up is off.
This is so easy to use. I use a cotton pad and wipe this over my face every few nights. I wake up with fresh looking skin. If you love all things glycolic then you'll like this. No noticeable smell either which is good.
Out of all the hair wax/moulding gel from american crew this is probably last on the list. Its not a bad product but it doesnt hold as well and the finish isnt as nice. My favourite is probably the fiber.
This dry oil feels so amazing. I bought it after reading review after review on how amazing it smells. I love the feel of it however I don't love the smell. Floral-haters be warned - this isn't for you.
