Which type of Shimmering Skin Perfector is best for dry skin?

The iconic Shimmering Skin Perfector range from BECCA now features three different formulas for varying skin types: pressed, poured, and the original liquid. For dry skin types, the original Shimmer Skin Perfector is an excellent choice. This incredibly versatile liquid can be mixed into moisturisers, primers, or foundations, or applied on its own to achieve a naturally dewy look.

Alternatively, Shimmer Skin Perfector Poured is a cream highlighter that delivers a soft and sophisticated sheen for radiant skin. Enriched with hydrating ingredients so it does not settle into fine lines or dry patches, it is the perfect choice for dry skin types.

Which type of Shimmering Skin Perfector is best for oily skin?

For oily skin, Shimmer Skin Perfector Pressed is the best option. This highlighting powder effortlessly blends into skin for a natural glow whilst offering all-day hold. The ultra-fine powder utilises new fade-resistant technology to ensure it lasts all day on even the oiliest of complexions.

What is lowlighting?

A technique created to work in synergy with highlighting, lowlighting adds definition and dimension to your skin for a subtly sculpted look. Whilst highlighting emphasises the best features, lowlighting draws other areas in to create depth and a natural-looking contour for more balanced features.

How to use the Lowlight/Highlight Palette to contour the face:

The Becca Lowlight/Highlight Palette is a beauty essential for those wanting to lightly highlight and contour for greater definition and a subtly sculpted look. The Lowlight Sculpting Perfector combines a touch of warmth with natural cool-toned shadow hues to create an authentic skin tone for lowlighting. The cream Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured in Quartz brightens skin and lifts the complexion for a radiant finish.

Use the lowlight to trace a number 3 along each side of your face, hitting the hairline, hollows of cheeks, and jawbone. Then apply the highlighter to the temples, cheekbones, bridge of the nose, inner corner of the eyes, and above the Cupid’s bow.

BECCA Lowlight/Highlight Perfecting Palette Poured

One of my faves

I absolutely love this! It blends so flawlessly and looks so natural. Love the highlight shade. I will purchase again.
BECCA Lowlight/Highlight Perfecting Palette Poured

Perfect for natural makeup

This palette is perfect for anyone with light, medium or even tanned skin tones and creates a very natural look. The creams are super smooth and blend out beautifully for a subtle look or can be built up in intensity. The shades are absolutely perfect, particularly the lowlight which is a very natural not-overly-grey tone for contouring. Doesn't make skin oily or greasy; it has a natural matte-satin finish on the skin. Highly recommended product.

Climate Dependant

I was hesitant to try this product after reading so many negative reviews saying how dry these creams can be but sometimes, I feel like people don't take climate into consideration. I have used this palette in both my cold as anything home town of Hobart, Tasmania - and I have also used this product in the middle of the Pacific where it's 30 degrees every day. Obviously, there is going to be a change in texture depending on where you live! When it's warmer, I've never used a more beautiful, glowy, healthy looking, and blendable bronzer. However, when it's colder yes, it does look a little drier and needs a bit more effort when blending but that doesn't take away anything from this product other then your time.
