Why you need to try this mask cocktail!

Have you heard of multi-masking yet?

Using a single face mask is now a thing of the past. Cocktailing your masks together to cater for your skin’s different concerns is the latest trend.

But how do you know which masks you should be using where?

Combination Skin

SkinCeuticals Hydrating B5 Masque Trilogy Mineral Radiance Mask

For combination skin, stick to a duo with non-comedogenic and hydrating properties. The SkinCeuticals Hydrating B5 Masque (shop here) uses Hyaluronic Acid to give your skin an intense moisture boost without being too emollient or heavy, so it won’t cause the skin to break out. Pair it with Trilogy Mineral Radiance Mask (shop here) to help reduce oiliness, and clear congestion.

Where To Apply:

Apply Trilogy Mineral Radiance Mask over the T-Zone and/or any problem areas, and SkinCeuticals Hydrating B5 Masque to all other areas of the face.

Sensitive Skin

Aspect Fruit Enzyme Mask + Aspect Hydrating Mask

We have to be careful with sensitive skin! Opt for super gentle exfoliation plus a dose of hydration. Aspect Fruit Enzyme Mask (shop here) is a very gentle exfoliating mask which will lift dead cells and dry patches from the skin, without causing irritation, for a smoother and softer complexion. Restore moisture levels by adding in Aspect Hydrating Mask (shop here). This is one of my favourites – it can be left on overnight, it’s super nourishing and gentle on the skin.

Where To Apply:

Apply Aspect Fruit Enzyme Mask to any problem areas for a targeted approach, or over the whole face for an all-over treatment. You can either apply Aspect Hydrating Mask after the Fruit Enzyme Mask and leave it on, or apply it over the top of the Fruit Enzyme Mask, and lightly massage into the skin and rinse off after a few minutes.

Acne-Prone Skin

Alpha-H Smoothing & Perfecting Mask + Dermalogica Charcoal Rescue Masque

For acne-prone skin, scarring and active breakouts are the main areas you want to target with a mask. Brighten, hydrate and reduce scarring in non-active areas with Alpha-H Smoothing & Perfecting Mask (shop here). To clear up congested areas and dry up active acne breakouts, apply Dermalogica Charcoal Rescue Masque (shop here).

Where To Apply:

Apply Alpha-H Smoothing & Perfecting Mask to any areas not currently affected by acne, and Dermalogica Charcoal Rescue Masque to any problem areas affecting by congestion and breakouts.
