Can I use Kryolan TV Paintstick If I Have Oily Skin?
This foundation is suitable for all skin types, however there are a few tips and tricks to ensure that you get the most out of it, depending on your skin type and what kind of coverage you would like. I have created a little cheat sheet below which outlines the perfect recipe for a flawless base depending on your skin type and the look you would like to achieve:
Very dry/dry skin looking for light coverage: Use a hydrating primer and mix TV Paintstick with a dewy liquid foundation for a “my skin but better” type of result.
Very dry/dry skin looking for full coverage: Use a hydrating primer underneath and mix TV Paintstick with a dewy medium-full coverage liquid foundation OR apply Kryolan TV Paintstick on it’s own. Once foundation has been applied, set it with a light setting powder, focusing on areas that the face naturally secretes oil from such as T-zone and chin for a long lasting, skin finish.
Oily Skin looking for light coverage: Use an oil-control/mattifying primer underneath and mix TV stick with a matte liquid foundation for the best result. Lightly powder areas of the face that are more prone to excess shine – including the T-zone, chin and any other areas that you find get oily over time.
Oily Skin looking for full coverage: Use a oil-control/mattifying primer and mix TV Paintstick with a matte full coverage liquid foundation OR apply TV Paintstick on it’s own. Once foundation has been applied, set the whole face with a setting powder.
Normal skin looking for light coverage: Use a hydrating/oil-control primer (depending on whether you would like to look more matte or more dewy) underneath and mix TV Paintstick with a dewy liquid foundation for a “my skin but better” result. Lightly dust setting powder over T-zone & chin.
Normal skin looking for full coverage: Use your preferred primer according to your desired finish underneath and mix TV Paintstick with a dewy/matte medium-full coverage liquid foundation OR apply it directly to the skin. Once the foundation has been applied, set it with a setting powder.
