The Liquid Bronzer You'll Want To Have In Your Kit This Summer

I don't know about you, but recently I've been intrigued by liquid bronzer. It's the one product I haven't tried a liquid version of - mainly because I was scared I'd go overboard, and secondly because I hadn't come across a product that had tempted me enough.

That was until I was stalking @nikki_makeup's Instagram stories recently, as I usually do, and I saw her using Dr Hauschka Translucent Bronzing Tint on Elsa Hosk. I was *instantly* sold.

Tell Me More:

Now, for the sake of being fully transparent, I don't really see Dr Hauschka as a sexy brand. Like, if I hadn't seen how bloody good it looked on Elsa, I probably wouldn't have jumped to purchase it... Just goes to show the power of a good tutorial, I suppose? Or that I have an unhealthy obsession with @nikki_makeup.

  • This product is a sheer bronze tinted solution that can be used to create a radiant complexion

  • The formula can be used alone as a bronzer to contour under the cheekbones & around the hairline

  • It can also be mixed with base products like moisturiser or primer for an all-over glow

  • It can be used in place of foundation to give a natural, skin-like finish (especially on holidays)

  • Contains a blend of olive oil, beeswax and mineral pigments

  • Also features ingredients Anthyllis and Witch Hazel to tone and firm the skin

How To Use It:

This is probably the most important part - we've gotta make sure you can use this stuff once your order arrives.

If you're using it as a liquid contour or bronzer, I recommend pumping the Translucent Bronzing Tint onto the back of your hand, picking it up with a brush like M.A.C's 170 Rounded Slant Brush, and softly buffing it under the cheekbones, and around the hairline (being careful not to shift your base underneath).

If you want to use it on a no makeup day to add a little natural glow to your complexion, you can mix a drop with your moisturiser or primer. I mix it with either Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream or Napoleon Perdis Auto Pilot Primer and it works a treat.

What's Everyone Else Saying About It?

Beautiful bronzer

I apply this product with a brush as a bronzer to my forehead, cheeks and neck. It leaves a lovely dewy finish that is buildable. I have applied it to my entire face but it was a little much for winter. Will try it again in summer though with a fake tan. Have also applied it to my arms and it leaves a subtle colour that lasts all day.

Beautiful healthy glow

I have always loved Hauschka products but never tried this until now. Another win! I mix a small drop in with my moisturiser each morning. It gives a natural hint of bronze which evens the skin tone and provides a healthy glow. I wanted this product to wean myself off foundation and concealer and that's exactly what it's doing. Because I am wearing less make up now, my skin is also clearing. Win w...

Sheer, buildable, quick and easy to use

Firstly the pump bottle is great, one pump is generous with no mess. Don't be put off by the dark colour, it goes on sheer and blends so well. It has a mild scent, that disappears. I layer it over my foundation and mix it with my concealer to hide redness on my cheeks. I find it best to press it into my skin. it leaves me with a dewy healthy glow. This could be worn on it's own - very versatile pr...
