I had received this product as a free sample. It leaves your skin clean, without drying it out. I have acne prone, oily skin and I am very reluctant to put any product on my face with oil in it. I expected this to be a typical cleansing oil that is applied on dry skin to dissolve makeup and sunscreen. It’s not (at all). Great product Like most avene products, this is very light and gentle on the skin. It actually works amazingly to take makeup off, but I prefer to use it after makeup removal so that it can have maximum benefits. It doesn’t break my skin out or leave me too oily. I’ve been using this product for years, it is excellent on both face & body, removes makeup really well & the bottle lasts for a very long time! You do not need much product to go a long way, it lathers very nicely. It’s unscented which is great if you wanna wear perfumes or have sensitivity to scents. This cleansing oil is beautiful - I put it on dry and then I wash off with water and it removes ALL of my make up and sunscreen. I liked this product but not for its intended purpose. It goes on like a thick gel then foams with water, every other oil cleanser I have used has emulsified but never foamed like this. Just started using this cleansing oil for my face as I love the Avene range and currently use their skin recovery cream and gentle cleansing lotion.
