This is a very gentle, non-irritating cleanser for anyone with sensitive or dry skin. Also good if you're sunburned or if you've used a powerful retinol and your skin is a bit reactive. Nice and soothing while still providing a decent cleanse.saved my face
I have gone through many expensive cleansers and exfoliators try long desperately to find something that agrees with my skin. I have mild rosacea but also breakouts in my 30s, which is wonderful. this cleanser has been fantastic. the redness has improved, my breakouts have mellowed and my skin tone has evened. I have been using this product as a morning cleanser (before serums) and have found it to be really hydrating. It is more of a lotion, so I generally use more of it, though I do rinse off with water like a regular cleanser. I have particularly allergen-prone skin and generally dry skin and have noticed more hydration in my skin & have not had any reaction to it!A very unique product

This cleanser is nice to use and very gentle on your skin. It doesn't leave your skin feeling stripped bare. It is more of a lotion rather than a foaming wash and has no fragrance which I love. You don't need to wash it off, however I didn't like leaving it on my skin then applying other products over the top, so used a microfibre cloth to wipe it off.Gentle and soothing
I have oily skin and a compromised barrier. I often avoid 'gentle' products as they can sometimes be clogging, but this one has the balance just right. It left my skin moist and soothed and didn't irritate my eyes. It is an excellent second cleanse and my red areas don't flare up from using this and I like that I can wait to apply creams as my skin isn't tight and uncomfortable. I will repurchase.Super gentle!

I love the Avene products however I am not a big fan of the Avene Tolerance Extremely Gentle Cleanser. I feel like with most of these types of cleansers a film is left on my face and it doesn't feel clean and I feel the need to go back over it with a cleanser I can wash off.gentle and kind

This product is as the name suggest super gentle and light. a little goes a long way, cleans makeup easily and is unscented. I love Avene Tolerance gentle cleanser because it cleanses effectively, you don't have to use a lot which makes it economical and it is extremely gentle on facial skin. I received this product as a sample to try and absolutely love it. It is a really gentle cleanser that doesn't make your skin feel dry or irritated after use. It doesn't foam up which I love and has a neutral scent which is great. I love the cool, gel feel of this cleanser on my sensitive skin. It easily removed my mascara and eye make up and it left my skin feeling really supple. A big plus for me is that it is fragrance free and no rinsing required. Will definitely purchase again.
