I bought this in it conjunction with the serum, and together they are a powerhouse of a duo. I particularly like the water cream; I love the light consistency and the velvety feeling on my skin once applied. It immediately neutralises imperfections and red spots and gives my face a nice glow. Plus it smells really fresh. Will definitely repurchase.Better options
I think this cream is expensive for 30mL. If you want to add antioxidants to your skin-care regime, I'd use an antioxidant serum followed by a cheap moisturizer. This product contains citric acid and fragrance which can be irritating and sensitizing to sensitive skin. I am loving this water cream! It has a fairly strong orange-y scent but I personally think it smells fresh and juicy. I have sensitive skin and it hydrates my skin and all of the added benefits are a bonus. Love Avene and this new range is no exception.Light and hydrating

Unfortunately the Avene A-Oxitive Smoothing Water Cream is heavily fragrances which I reacted to. However I was able to use it as a body lotion. It was lovely and hydrating and I noticed a definite improvement to the texture of my skin.Fantastic

I got this cream as a sample, and didn't love it. The consistency is nice, like a gel/water, but I found it dried really quickly and didn't feel very hydrating or plumping. It did feel a bit soothing though which was nice. I don't think this was for me but might be worth a try if you have very sensitive skin.
