My hair has been full of volume which was a nice surprise and I think proves it does not weigh hair down and isn't full of nasties. It softens in the right way. This shampoo is AMAZING. I have been looking for so long for a shampoo that doesn't dry out my hair, and this shampoo definitely doesn't dry it out! This shampoo not only hydrates my hair, but it leaves it smelling so amazing and also very soft! By far the best shampoo I've ever used it. It really does what it says - my hair was dramatically softened. The scent is also light and comfortable (and this is coming from someone who doesn't usually like cherry scents). Great price point too.Clean but a bit drying
I like the Rosemary Mint and the Shampure shampoo of Aveda more than this. The Cherry Almond smell is not overpowering. But the shampoo does have a little drying feel. But it does the job in terms of cleaning any product on the hair.Smells beautiful

The smell alone makes washing your hair so enjoyable that it’s a bonus that the shampoo itself is great! I have fine but thick hair that is prone to frizz and I find this does a great job at smoothing it without weighing it down, like a lot of other products can do. I've tried several aveda shampoos and conditioners and this is by far their best. It smells amazing and leaves your hair hydrated and silky. It's like aromatherapy in the shower! I have wavy, very thick hair that's on the dry side. This product doesn't leave my hair feeling stripped. I can't see myself buying any other shampoo.Love the scent!

Love this shampoo! Firstly the smell is incredible, and it does exactly what it says on the bottle and really softens hair. Being one of Aveda's cheaper shampoos it certainly doesn't lack any of the quality so that's another plus.Softens
In conjunction with the conditioner this does provide softening and hydration - I have lots of long thick wavy hair which is low porosity and prone to frizz. BUT I was let down by the smell, i’m Used to the herbal tones of Aveda products, this was sickly sweet for me.Makes me want to wash my hair every day!
This shampoo smells so good that it makes me want to lather up on the daily! Aside from the delicious scent, I find that this is a pretty good shampoo that makes my hair feel clean and soft. The smell is not good at all, I didn't enjoy that but the shampoo does do what it claims. It makes your hair feel soft and clean. It's not something that I would go out of my way to buy because it doesn't do much in comparison to the competition. Best thing it does is make you hair feel clean and no frizz.Great

Sooo disappointed with this :( I quite like Aveda products and I was really excited by the sound of this conditioner. I thought cherry and almond would be beautiful and the packaging looks so nice. Unfortunately, the smell is so AWFUL that I couldn't even bring myself to try it and I will be returning it. It smells like a horrible medicine. Would not recommendNot what I expected
I really wanted to like the new Aveda shampoo as I couldn't wait to smell the cherry almond scent. But it's not what I expected as it has a very strong floral scent. Although this shampoo smells lovely, it felt like it didn’t cleanse my hair enough and it made my roots quiet oily.
