I thought this product would be perfect for my hormonal oily acne prone skin but each time I’ve used it, I’ve had a bad reaction. On the days I tried this, my skin was uncomfortably tight, irritated and more oily than usual.
The smell is quite strong when its on your face but it works well! I generally don't put anything on my face afterwards and wake up with very smooth skin. I alternate this with the Skinstitut Glycolic Scrub 14% as I like a physical scrub as well.
This is the only product from Alpha H that i did not like unfortunately. It just wasn’t what I was looking for as I’m used to cleansers that foam up otherwise I don’t feel like my oily acne prone skin is getting a good cleanse. With this cleanser I felt I had to wash twice to feel like i was getting a good clean and that was after removing my make up first with cleansing cloth before I begin to cl...
Being post-menopause at 50 (with some chronic health challenges) means I often need extra surface help for my complexion as it ages. This product is now a staple for me. The few times I've run out, i notice my skin begins to look duller & gets dehydrated more easily, hilighting wrinkles & pigmentation. From the first use this works for me. The serum is seriously light & lasts really well (can't bel...
I've used up two full bottles and keep coming back for me. It works great for my oily, acne prone yet dehydrated skin and I always wake up with a super glow the morning after using this! I like to use it twice a week as I read that much acid on acne prone skin could worsen the situation.
I don't have oily or super blemished skin, however when I do break out, I find the Liquid Gold to be a lot more effective in fixing my skin than this gel. This might be amazing to those with more oily skin, however this wasn't for me.
Contrary to some of the review recommendations, you can definitely be any age to use this (post-20 years old). The acids within it are more on the intense side, but used a few times a week definitely increase the skin's quality. I would probably liken this to the Pixi Glow Mud Cleanser. I have sensitive skin and it's also ok for me, though if you found Glow Mud intense, this might not be for you.
