My first Aesop Cleanser - great experience

Suzanne

I was not sure whether I want to buy a small bottle of cleanser for this price point, after my first use, I didn’t regret my choice. Surprisingly the cleanser foamed up nicely with a tiny drop, and enough to wash up my entire face, my skin didn’t dry up after the wash. By the way, I have combination acne prone skin type. I only use this cleanser in the morning, a little goes a long way. I will come back to purchase other Parsley seed range product.

Not for me

Mag

To be honest I have nothing to say negative about this product except that it brought me nothing more than what I use today. However, I like the brand and the composition of their products.
That’s right, it does its job... very smoothly. But I’m not a proponent of liquid soap. I personally think it is consumed too quickly.
  1. Aesop always wins with fragrances!

    BVG

The scents in Aesop's range is one of the BEST. Their hand balms, room sprays, hand soaps and this facial cleanser is no different. It makes cleansing super enjoyable because it makes you feel like you're at a luxe spa. If only the cleanser didn't have SLS in the inkey list, otherwise I would have given if five stars. If you aren't bothered by SLS, then this bougie cleanser ticks the boxes.
  2. Good but exxy

    Gec

Works just as well as any other cleanser and smells nice as well - though the scent is definitely polarising
  3. Nice but stinky

    GG

This is nice and gentle on the skin but it doesn't quite lather or apply evenly, it also smells really weird (and I normally love parsley and Aesop products!).

  5. Spa quality

    Pechoch

This is the most divine smelling cleanser I’ve ever used, and feels like your at a day spa. It’s a lovely gentle cleansing cream, good for day to day use but sadly with quite a high price tag. Would look at purchasing the full size if it wasn’t quite so expensive. Lovely clean fresh skin.
  6. Another great smelling Aesop product

    Kylie

I adore Aesop products as they always smell fabulous. When I got a sample of this the other day I used it in the shower to clean my face after work. It left my skin feeling super soft and squeaky clean, and reminded me of the fresh botanical aromas you experience during a day spa session. Very nice indeed!
  7. effective but pricey

    Steph

I used this cleanser for the longest time and love how gentle the milk mixture was on my eczema-prone skin. It was good at removing my makeup too. It's most effective when used with the other parsley seed range and camellia nut lotion. The only downside the cost wasn't really sustainable for me to continue using. But if you can afford it, definitely worth it!
  8. Lovely but not for me

    Andrea54

I tried this cleanser and found it pleasant enough but not enough to make me change fro my current cleanser.
  9. Not for me

    Ruby

I found this product far too gentle, even for a double cleanser. I couldn't really feel this product on my skin. Always love the smell of Aesop products, that is how they get me every time but not sold on this one
  10. Drying

    GB

I bought this product for the lactic acid and exfoliating component. During the winter months I find that it dries my skin out and my skin feels taut afterwards. It does cleanse well, but I have moved to a milk cleanser since.
  11. amazing

    Raha

Removes make up extremely well, I was quite impressed! Another great product from the line.
  12. not my fav

    Viv

this wasn't my favorite cleanser from the range, it's not bad, it just wasn't suited to my combination skin

  14. Too harsh for my skin

    Kristy

I found that this cleanser was too harsh for my skin which can sometimes be sensitive. I love the Aesop range but this particular product was not good for me. It also left my face feeling quite tight and dry
  15. Not as good as the other cleansers in their range

    Freya

I found this cleanser underperformed compared to other cleansers in the Aesop range. It dried my skin out a bit and didn't give me the nice, clean feeling that the other ones do. It's expensive, so I'd recommend trying some of their other cleansers first.
  16. Great

    asami

Living in a tropical climate, my skin tends to get oily and congested. It’s the only cleanser that helps keep those annoying white heads at bay. The consultant suggested to leave it on my skin for a minute and it really does work wonders. My skin feels soft and smoother.
  17. AESOP PARSLEY SEED FACIAL CLEANSER

    Zhaowei

I've been using this cleanser for 3 months now, it's an amazing cleanser for the summer especially when you get oily and your skin turns acne prone. My skin tends to get oily and acne prone plus I wear a SPF 50 sunscreen everyday on my face, so my skin tends to breakout often however ever since I started using this cleanser my skin has cleared a lot, my t-zone isn't as oily as it always is in the ...
