Most Helpful Positive

Love the ingredients
I got this as a sample and fell head over heels. I've been on the lookout for a potent antioxidant, but this one had slipped past my notice. It's a thin oil with a hippy-herbal scent that gives a feel-good vibe of being all natural and all good (which the ingredient list shows is true!). I love the glow (not shine) it gives my dry-normal skin, and even though it says WEEKLY, I'm so going to add a drop to my moisturiser every day when I get the bottle (they say you can).

Most Helpful Criticism

Moisturising but smells so bad
I received a sample of this and followed instructions. It is runny and oily but it definitely moistured my fave skin. It just smells SO bad like when you have parsley and leave it in a glass of water too long and starts to go off. It also has a slight cool tingle which feels good but I just can’t get past the smell.
  1. Really hydrating and feels great

I received this product as a sample and will be purchasing. It is quite a thick hydrating serum/oil that feels great on. I don’t know much about the ingredients but sometimes just that thick layer feels like it’s dong wonders for hydration.
Probably more of a night time use as I’m not sure how it would go under makeup but it feels really nice and a little went a long way.

  3. Hydrating

Received this as a sample. Has a very oil/serum consistency (more on the oily side) but felt really nice on my skin and definitely hydrated it. Has a lovely herbal natural scent to it.
  4. Makes your skin glow

I received a sample of this and my dry/combination skin was
parched and after using it I had a lovely glow to my skin and it
absorbed quicker than most oils I've tried. I think their mixture
of different oils in the one product make it worth the price.
  5. Change of ingredients

This used to be such a beautiful oil prior to Aesop changing the formulation. My skin was beautifully hydrated and the oil sat particularly well under my make-up.
It seems that Aesop have recently changed the formulation by adding sunflower oil and geraniol. I have used other products which have included sunflower oil without issue so I am assuming that the geraniol is responsible for the intense redness, itching and swelling which appeared on my face. Once the redness and swelling subsided, I was left with skin that was blotchy, dry and terribly sensitive to even a basic, non scented moisturising lotion.
Such a shame that Aesop decided to change the formulation of a product that was already a winner.
  6. Aesop Parsley Seed Anti-Oxidant Facial Treatment

Every time I use it, my skin looks more glowing and refreshed, and feels so rejuvenated.
  7. Was ok

I didn't love this facial treatment but I didn't dislike it either. I love the other parsley items in the range, but this just didn't really improve the texture of my skin

  9. A bit heavy.

I love Aesop and have been using their products for years. However I did not love this product. It was a bit heavy and thick for me. I have quiet oily skin - and have used the fabulous face oil face oil- which I love- I will be going back to that oil instead. This may be bette for some one with dry skin- Not a bad product, just not for me.
