Very good barber shaving experience with a great masculine fragance

Jack

Shaving can be a bit boring and dull with traditional menthol or chemical shaving foams. This Moroccan Shaving Gel by Aesop is bringing the barber experience to the bathroom. It's almost like being in an oriental spa. The Sandalwood fragrance is pretty strong and has a very masculine scent. I also like that is has a light foam which is perfect to see where you shave. I have a beard and I only need to keep it tidy around the edges. So this clear gel is perfect for the job. It is also very protective to the skin, it leaves a nice soft touch without feeling dry or tight. Despite being pretty expensive, I noticed I only use few drops from the pressure bottle for a shave. This is definitively a treat for blokes who are keen to enjoy shaving again every day.

prefer the cream

I love the cream and thought I'd give this a try and it's much lighter and doesn't provide as much hydration in my opinion so I'd personally prefer the cream

  2. Beautiful shaving serum

    Emily

I've repurchased this shaving serum a few times now. It is non irritating, has a nice slip when shaving and doesn't leave any residue.
  3. Worth the price

    Hayley

My partner tried this first (he has sensitive skin) and worked so well for him that I now use it too, its really gentle and doesn't leave any shaven area feeling tight or dry. Beautiful packaging and smell too, its worth splurging a little for this.
  4. Unique and beautiful

    Simon

This is much lighter than shaving creams and provides a lot of hydration. It's great for travelling.
  5. Lovely non-drying shaving serum!

    Shelby

I received this in a gift selection of Aesop products- I was happy to give it a try but not something I would have been likely to purchase myself. The formula is lovely, very slippery but not oily or foamy like most shaving products. It does wash away extremely easily with water, so best to apply to wet skin and then turn the shower off while you actually shave. I like that this formula isn't dryi...

I have been buying this product for my husband for a long time. He has very sensitive skin and it is the only product that he finds does not cause rashes or red itchy skin after shaving.
  7. My husbands favorite

    Rebecca

I bought this as a gift for my husband a few years back and now he will not use anything else. Definitely his favourite.

  9. like it!

    Lily

I like using this on sensitive areas after shaving/waxing e.g. underarms. Works to just calm the skin and give it some hydration
  10. Not too bad!

    Lauren

I received a sample of this and used it for shaving my legs. It felt nice and smelt great and I had no irritation. I’m just not sure it’s necessary in a world of so many product options!
  11. LUX Shaving Serum

    Aiden

Quite expensive, however it smells great and a little bit does go a long way. I swear by all Aesop products, and while I can't fault this one either I still think that a cheaper alternative will do just as good of a job.
  12. Beautiful texture and smells great!

    Robyn

I bought this for my husband because it is perfect for his sensitive skin. No rashes, and it smells great too. So good, in fact, that I often steal it when I shave my underarms and legs.
  13. Nice

I received this as a sample and loved how soft and smooth my skin felt after using this. The smell was a bit overpowering. I would like this more if the full size wasn't so expensive.

Hubby got a sample and I literally went and purchased the next day. He absolutely swears by it!!
  15. Nice enough

    Kat

I got a sample of this and I was impressed with how little you need to use to get it foaming and I really loved the scent, it can be a bit overpowering when you’re using it but it just sorts of settles in as a nice scent on the body once you’re finished. I have pretty sensitive skin and particuarly when shaving and I haven’t had a reaction to this my only hesitation in ordering the full size is th...

Not use to shaving serums, normally use creams but the serum worked pretty good. I wasn't a huge fan of the smell, was a bit much for me personally
