Overview
As an essential oil, Lavender is simply unsurpassed and is truly a miracle worker. Often referred to as “burns first aid”, Lavender’s anti-inflammatory and regenerating properties are amazing. Combine this with its soothing and calming impact on the skin, and intoxicating scent and you have a fabulous, multi-purpose body oil, that is simple enough to use every day. Perfect for use all over the body, after showering, before your body moisturiser and for body massage. Also great for use on the face, as a pre-cleanser makeup-melter. What a versatile product!

Overall

I am a sucker for that dewy, not-sweating-just-well-nourished-summertime glow. Not to mention how drop dead devine a body oil can make your summer tan (from a tube or from rays) look. And Ole's Lavender Body Oil, full of all the good stuff, certainly does provide a great shine. Easy to work with and not overwhelmingly greasy (but greasy enough!), it left my skin looking glowy-and-dewy for hours. To my astonishment, it was even compliment-worthy. However, moisturizing wise, Ole's Oil didn't quite cut the cheese. So if you're in it for a killer glow, go for gold. But if you're after ultimate-summer-time nourishment, I'd suggest you keep looking.
