Ole Henriksen Blue/Black–Berry Enzyme Mask

I will admit I was a little nervous about trying this product given my sensitivity, but boy was I pleasantly surprised. This is a gorgeous thick gel mask so it doesn't dry on the skin. The lavender smell once you get used to it (I found it initially overpowering)is just beautiful and adds to the calming effect of a facial. My skin was left feeling very calm, soothed and hydrated. This is a mask that I will definitely be adding to my regular routine.

Great product. I keep my jar in the fridge so when I apply it, it feels super soothing, which to a degree balances any tingles or sensitivity that I can experience with exfolient or enzyme products. A lovely clear, thick gel which smells beautifully of lavender. It says it can even be applied directly under the eyes which I like because I like to occasionally and gently exfoliate this area. It is quite gentle - although it does tingle at first - but compared to other exfoliating masks it is not that strong. If you are looking for a more intense effect this perhaps not the right mask - but for a gentle, subtle effect this does work. Skin looks smooth and calm, but it does not attack really blocked or oily pores the way some masks of this type can.

I just love this mask and will never be without it again! My skin looks so plump and feels instantly hydrated, nourished and soothed after each use. The mask is clear and has a gel like consistency which applies effortlessly and has a divine (but not overpowering) scent of lavender. Only a small amount of product is needed with each application so the jar will last a long time. I would highly recommend this product and think it wound suit even the most sensitive skin type.

I was a bit nervous about this - I wasn't sure about the enzymes. I tried it anyway, and oh boy! was I ever glad I did. My skin felt soft, smooth and hydrated for days after.
