Overall

Lovely texture which melts into the skin. Great for oily skin- combo or dry etc need not apply. This is meant for oily skin. I use this as a primer under my mineral makeup sometimes. If I use too much it will make me shiny. (That's which most products on my skin) But used correctly it's great.

With less of a scent than the rest of the products in this range, I think the matte rice moisturising fluid might just be my favourite out of what I have tried so far. It's light, applies smooth & although it doesn't offer too much in the way of moisture/hydration, it did manage to keep my oily skin at bay for a good part of the working day.

Overall

When first applied, this product has a lovely scent and texture - light and fresh, on both counts. It sinks into the skin immediately, leaving no trace of any product whatsoever. Skin looks instantly pure and mattified. The matte effect lasted for about two hours on me, before some oil breakthrough on my t-zone. However, I think this product fails in its duty as a moisturiser. It didn't seem to moisturise or nurture my skin in any way, and made me feel a little tight and parched. This could just be because my combination skin was having a drier day, so I wouldn't discount it if you have oilier skin which needs control. Packaging was lovely.
