I absolutely love this little gem of a product! I had high expectations of Laura Mercier and I was not disappointed. This is a creme eye shadow which sets as a beautiful satin brown/taupe colour. In a world of shimmery eye shadows, the finish is refreshingly non-glitzy. It is beautiful on its own but provides a great base for powder eye shadows, to provide depth and colour. It is just so easy to blend, and looks effortlessly well-applied every time. The tiny tube holds a deceptively large amount, because so little is used every time. I adore this product and am keen to add other Satinee Creme Eye Colours into my collection!

Adore kindly sent me this in Ecru, which is a great 'everday' all purpose colour that will brighten the lid area with its slight yellow tinge. I applied this with my fingers all the way to the brow bone and it's very smooth and silky, but it requires quite a bit of blending to get it totally smooth and to achieve full coverage. I loved the initial results because it's so easy to apply and it made me look like I was well rested, but it creased by noon. I tried it with a powder shadow on top, too but I found that it still creased whether it was a warm or cool day-I use sunblock every day and have oily lids though, so this might be better for someone who doesn't have that problem.

I really like the ease of a creme eye colour. I have the pink chiffon and it is a great base colour, I used it alone with a flick of black eyeliner and it looked great. Beware it is extremely shiny though. It also did crease both with and without shadow insurance however I wore it to work for full days. I think as a night colour it would be perfect. I would not hesitate to try more colours as it went on well and stayed put for most of the day.

Great cr?me eye colour. Highly pigmented so you only need to use a small amount to get a rich colour this tube will last a long time. I applied the product with my fingers and it was easy to blend and apply even colour all over the lid. Colour stayed true all day and did not crease.

I was a little hesitant in applying this product, as I've never tried a "creme" eye shadow before. However, I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to use! A silky, smooth creme that glides onto the eye lid without any trouble. I just squeezed a small pea sized amount onto the back of my hand, taking a make up brush I applied with ease. (or you can use your finger to apply) You don't need much, as a little goes a long way. I really liked the texture of this product as it didn't drag at all. Staying in place all day long, without settling in the creases, even on a hot day. I think that this product has actually converted me over from the normal powdered eye shadows! I will be ordering more colours to add to my cosmetic collection in the near future!

This is the first time that I've ever used an eye creme and have absolutely fallen in love with them! Laura Mercier's Satinee eye colour glides on effortlessly with a gentle swipe of your finger and blends soo easily. The two shades that I've tried, Ecru Silk and Peach Organza, provided the subtlest bit of colour and shimmer to my eyelids. These creme eye colours are great for day time use or can be used as a base to layer on more pigmented colours. It stays on all day and are highly recommended.
