Laura Mercier's Mineral Powder Foundation is my all time favourite mineral foundation - and having tried hundreds of beauty products, I feel this is a pretty big call to make! With so many wonderful reasons to fall in love with Mineral Powder SPF15, I think I will be converted for life. The coverage is a buildable light to full coverage which I love to wear in the day time to work and on weekends because the powder is super lightweight, the colours are some of the most natural in the mineral market, the product is not too messy because the large jar lid allows for plenty of room to swirl and tap the brush and formula without Mineral Powder flying around the room. Being a powder formula, I initially thought this would wear off quickly but I was proven wrong because Mineral Powder SPF15 lasts all day, every day guaranteed and rarely do I even need to touch up my skin. The finely milled loose powder is composed completely of natural elements and contains 15 active amino acids to clear the skin of toxins, promote healthy skin cell growth. Mineral Powder foundation contains Pure Pearl Powders & Mica which help to give skin a natural glow and soften the appearance of harsh lines and flaws. Plus each jar contains a natural SPF15 factor which I feel is essential to my lifestyle. If you have not tried Laura Mercier's Mineral Powder SPF15 foundation, then you MUST speak to your nearest Laura Mercier consultant and find the perfect match for you - I'm on to my second jar and I couldn't be happier.

I loved this but stopped using once I found something better that DIDN'T contain Bismuth- naughty LM! Other than that- the glow is great- but if you're not a full face of makeup gal (eyes, lips, cheeks etc) you may think it doesn't look natural. Once off set with the rest of your makeup, it does. Beautiful creamy consistancy, great coverage. I have oily skin- the primer exacerbated this- so I just spritzed some Avene thermal water as a base, and that was perfect with this makeup. I would not buy again because of Bismuth. This can cause irritation or breakouts. The pearl powder is great though- gives that airbrushed glow.

I've been a user of Mineral Makeup for about 5 years and, based on the great reviews I've read, decided to try the Laura Mercier version. Unfortunately, I was incredibly disappointed. It has far too much luminosity to appear natural. It was similar to using a shimmer highlighter all over my face. These products can be great if used for spot highlighting but I felt the overall shimmer was overkill. I also felt it didn't have the staying power of other mineral foundations. Before anyone says I should have used the Mineral Primer prior to application, I did!

I purchased this mineral powder in soft porcelain, and it's a perfct match for my fair skin-not too yellow or pink; neutral. I was happy to find that there is a little twist cover inside to stop the powder from spilling so it's great for travel, but the best thing about this product is how finely milled it is-it's basically dummy-proof to apply and it layers perfectly! I haven't stuck to one brand since converting to minerals as I have had issues with the texture or lack of colour range, but I think I have found 'the one' for me as the finish does give a little glow and it doesn't feel like anything is on my skin. I am so confident in its abilities that I will recommend this to a girlfriend who even hates the feel of mineral powders let alone liquids.

Good mineral foundation but I find I need to use a primer underneath it ( I use Becca mineral primer 30+) for it to ‘sit’ properly. Without the primer it can look cakey. However that said it is s good foundation with medium coverage which conceals most of my blemishes. You can layer it for extra coverage if needed. The colour I use, Real Sand, is perfect for my fair skin. The container is large so hopefully it will last a while. It has a closer which stops messy spillage when you carry it around. I tap some powder in to the lid and swirl it around with a kabuki brush and then apply.

This is the first mineral foundation I have tried and I am quite impressed. I was hesitant to try minerals because I didn't think I'd get the coverage like I would in a liquid - but I would describe this as a medium coverage foundation that evens out my skin tone really well. I've had to get used to a slightly more powdery finish than I'm accustomed to - but it's not too bad. The colour match is great and application is a breeze with the Laura Mercier blending brush (would def recommend this). It is a bit messy to use being a loose powder so I probably wouldn't recommend it for travelling. The only other thing I find is I have to make sure I moisturise well because it can grab dry spots. Lasts all day on my normal/combo skin and does not need to be touched up. I use the BECCA mineral primer or Clinique City Block underneath and both work well.

Very impressed with this. The closure over the sifter is a good idea, no 'surprises' when you open the lid! Provides full natural coverage and gives a luminous look to the skin. Silky texture that blends easily and feels matte on the skin. Lasts well all day.

Great mineral foundation is easy to apply and a little goes a long way. That said, I found the coverage slightly sheerer than others (I have also used Ultraceuticals Ultra Mineral Foundation and the Bloom one) and it did not stay put for nearly as long on my oily skin the the Ultraceuticals version. This may be because of the lack of talc in the Laura Mercier version. Having to reapply because of this is annoying but overall it is a very high quality product in a generously large jar.

I bought this in Real Sand and it matches my skin tone beautifully. It provides great coverage, looks very natural and feels very light on your face, like you're not wearing any makeup at all. Prep your skin first with Laura Mercier Foundation Primer and the foundation will guarantee to stay on your skin all day, just love it!

This was my first foray into mineral foundations and it has been a good experience. The ability to control the cover I want makes it versatile. It is also long wearing and not cakey. The dispenser of the powder could be made better but that is my only criticism of this very good product.

Finer than most mineral powders so it is messier than the previous products I have used. I have never found a makeup that matches my skin tone as well as this product. It is very expensive which is a bit of a turn off when I see how much ends up on the bathroom counter but I will see how long it lasts and decide on repurchasing at that point.

This Product is great, very easy to apply, great coverage, and unlike other mineral make-up brands I have used it is not cakey and heavy. Very fresh coverage and non irritating. Mineral makeup is 100% better than any liquid foundation I have ever used. Comes in a terrific container with non mess sifter cover too. Will definately buy again

One of the best mineral foundations I've used, if not the best. It gives a beautiful radiant finish without looking too shiny or greasy, and works as concealer as well. Make sure you get the Laura Mercier Blending Brush to use with it - an unbeatable duo. I deduct one star for the slightly ugly jar (but eh, pretty much all minerals are ugly).
