I bought the scarlet - rich classic red, this product is pretty good for a lip stain balm, great to use if you just want a hint of colour or you can layer it up for a more bold colour, I found that dabbing it onto my lips works heaps better than smearing it on as this makes the balm go on more evenly, the only fault would have to be that even though the colour is very intense, it doesn't last very long unlike some lip stains that I have used where colour tends to stay on until the next day, but other than that it's pretty good, I'd buy it again!

I so wanted to love this as I am a huge Laura Mercier fan and the packaging of this tint in the little glass pot is lovely. But I found the product dried my lips a little, wore off unevenly and was difficult to apply evenly unless I had lots of balm underneath. Colours are quite pigmented and a lovely range of colours but this was perhaps not suited to my particular lips.

The texture of this range of lip products is just lovely; not too sticky, not too dry. It's like a light balm but with the pigment of a lipstick - without the heaviness or scent. This is shade is more a pink-beige than a pink-brown; it gives quite a natural result so it would be very good for work. The only criticsm I have which removed a few stars is the particular shade-I prefer a cooler tone on my skin, hence why I wouldn't buy (this shade) again.

I received a pot of this from Adore today and it is just great! If you like colour without the stickiness, mess and high shine of a gloss or the heaviness of a lipstick, this is for you! It does stain the lip but not in a highly pigmented and unnatural way; The texture is smooth and sheer and it doesn't have an offensive scent. The poy is quite generous so I imagine will last me quite some time. My only criticism is the colour comes out a little more brown than violet.
